Youths Speak: Vincent Gloria

Hello people!
You didn’t think that I forgot all about our youth section of the blog did you?
If all goes well like I pray it should, the first event at the Secondary school would be held some 2hours from now (prayers needed and fingers crossed 🙂
We have a special lady as our guest for youths speak on the blog today.
I met her at NYSC Camp and we were both at MDG training together.
She was this dark fine girl like that and I just noted her as a candidate for this interview because…well, she get mouth.lol.
Her answers to this interview are straight to the point because she isn’t a lawyer like us that write and write plenty… So, let’s get on with it shall we? 🙂

Me: Please tell us a little about yourself
Gloria: My name is Vincent Gloria, I studied Political science in school and graduated in 2014

Me: Do you think that NYSC is being over hyped and has out lived it’s usefulness?
Gloria: No.

Me: So if NYSC hasn’t outlived it’s usefulness to you, how has it helped you to be a better person?

Gloria: It has inspired me to be more active in anything I want to do especially in helping others and it has also inspired my interest in fish farming and empowering others.

Me: Hmm, so we have an entrepreneur in the making here, nice 🙂
Some Nigerians believe that funds are being wasted on Nigerian youths because they contribute nothing useful to the economy.
Do you agree with this?
Gloria: No.

Me: Well, since you think that youths are indeed contributing positively to the Nigerian society, can you use yourself as an example?
What goals do you hope to achieve that can impact Nigeria positively?

Gloria: I intend to assist the aged parents who cannot do anything and have no help and also sensitize our youths that they can also help the aged.

Me: That’s a great goal, I would love to be sensitized too, as I have never really thought about helping the aged.

Finally, do you still believe in Nigeria despite her attendant issues?
Gloria: YES.

The year’s running already and lives need the light in you.

I sincerely hope that you are inspired to be a youth who would inspire Nigeria positively and not just laze around.
We all have dreams and I believe that if work on them and hold on tightly to them, they will come to reality.
