So on Sunday was thanksgiving service organised for Law School students and the theme was praising God in advance for what He will do. I had no cash on me per say but gave the seemingly big one I had with me to God and thanked Him for a number of things.
I woke up today and the leading in my heart was to pray for favour.
I overdosed on MK’s Arugbo ojo and just worshipped God. The “thank You Lord” from my lips were just pouring out.
I also thanked God for a number of things this morning and what I want to talk about in this post was one of them.
Diamond Bank initiated a scheme for law school students of opening a savings extra account with minimum of 5000naira which entiles you to qualify for a draw with cash prizes to be won.
I had opened mine with 30,000naira.
It was announced in class today that the draw will hold in the afternnon. I had to submit something to a firm outside school and I could not meet up with the draw.
On my way out of school however, I had a leading to thank God in advance for my win. I just started thanking God. A voice also came in to say “Frances what are the odds? Law school students are so many, you cant…”
The answer I got in me was “God is the odd, He is inside you..” (btw, I’ve being hearing that a lot lately)
So I ignored the words of doubts and kept praising God.
I had not even stepped out of school when I got a call…
I mean right at that moment of the leading to thank God in advance, I got the call that i had won 100,000naira.
I am not kidding, I am not joking, this happened this afternoon.
I dont even know whether to sit, kneel, or roll on the floor to thank God and I hear in my spirit that this is just the beginning…
I could not wait to get to my laptop to share this… Not just to share the testimony of my win but to share what I feel God is saying to me  in my spirit.
We may feel that God doesnt know what we pass through…
We may feel that He does not see the tears..
But the truth is that HE KNOWS.
He never leaves, never!
Voices of doubts may also be telling you “what are the odds” for that stuff you are hoping for but the truth is the odds are in our favour – we have God inside of us.
Of course, I am not saying all this just because of the cash, I am saying what I feel God wanted to pass across to me by this win…
We were just two persons out of 1,500 students who won the 100,ooonaira, (others won 50,000).
The 2nd person who won 100,000naira had opened his account with 400,000naira and the bigger the cash you opened with, the bigger slots you get in the draw, so truly what were my odds?
It could not have been my 30,000naira that did the trick, it could only have being the favour of God working through it all.
So more than the win, I just know and I want whoever is reading this out there to know that GOD KNOWS.
Whatever it maybe that’s up with you, HE KNOWS.
PS: Can I just say how sweet the Holy Spirit is? I mean, he tells us what to pray for, He gives us words of encouragement when the doubts creep in..His voice of truth is priceless!
PPS; Apart from paying my tithe and the leading in my spirit to give my brother some cash, I have no inkling of what to do with the cash (time to pray) but I do know I want to share some, no matter how little it may be and what better way to do that than on my blog?

Then I started declaring my own testimonies as well.
I commented on that post that “God’s people are never put to shame” or something like that. And see you, this is the beginning. Sweetheart, I’m confidently saying this is nothing. We serve such a God. I can’t understand why he loves us so much. He is the God that says “be still, be calm. I am in the midst of it. I have provided an escape route for you. Be careless in my care and just keep serving me because I’m right with you, holding your hand.”

Keeping my belief in line with what I say and God hears, He always does..faith is our currency to getting the physical manifestation of what we have received already..faith. Faith.
