While You Wait…

Hello,Hello Dearies!
How’s your week being?
Kai! Mine has been crazily busy,stressful and everyting Lagos law school is known for!
*phew*
NLS Lagos really ready for us.Abeg expect my post on Saturday on NLS,you’ll get the full gist then.

Today I want to share with you all (esp the Ladies) something I wrote a while back.People wonder how I am so fufilled(or working towards getting fufilled) in my singlehood and how I dont stress about boyfriend stuffs or marriage.
Well,I don’t even know how o,na God.

The truth is I am so busy inculcating all the virtues in the post below that I hardly have time to lament about a relationship/the lack of one thereof.
I realised like Mummy Faith Oyedepo said,that being single is a phase in Life,its a season in my life and just like all seasons are meant for something,singlehood is meant for a lot too.

I assume you know Michelle Hammond?(Pls Check her out if you don’t,you can’t be a lady aspiring for more if you haven’t read one of her books yet,so pls read one up oo)
Ehen,she said that you can be content(in singlehood),despite your longing(for relationship or marriage).
And while you are doing “the waiting game,your life can be still so full and vibrating with purpose!”

I don’t know about you,but that’s where I want to be.
I want to get so lost in what I am meant to do while I wait that I can become a complete lady that my future man will be proud of.

Remember,the bible says 1+1= 1.
Not 0+1=1.

So have to bring a lot to the table too and guess what?
Thats what your singlehood is meant for.
Like Mummy Faith Oyedepo says,your singlehood is a stage in your life that if maximised to the fullest,brings out the best in the next phase of your life.that is the double phase(you get ba?)

WHILE YOU WAIT::
The bible says in Proverbs 18:22 that-
“he who findeth a wife findeth a good thing and obtaineth favour from the Lord”
Meaning,it is the man that findeth the woman He wants as a wife.

Whats a woman to do then while she waits for the man to find her?

I am very certain the virtous woman in proverbs 31 didn’t learn all the attributes for which her husband praised her while in the marriage.It must have been before she got married that she trained herslf to be an excellent woman.

You can do the same.
Everything you know your man will be glad to have in you while in the marriage can be imbibed while you wait for him to come.

You want to love him like crazy when he comes?
Love urself like crazy first.
You want to care for him?
care for yourself first.
You want to manage your family finances well in the future?
learn to manage yours first.
You want to cook for him?
cook for yourself first.
You want to be a wife with wisdom in her words when she speaks to her husband? Speak to yourself with wisdom first.
You want to have a fit body when you are married?
Start exercising and eating healthy right now.
You want to have a career and a job that your man will be proud of you for?
Start working on dat career right now,start working on your credentials,start working on ur job skills…

Finally,when he finds you,he finds favour also,so you may also want to start seeking that favour from God upon you right now before He comes.
There’s no need to pine and bemoan d the fact that he hasn’t come while you wait.

Put the time into good use,become a certified,bonified and authentic Daughter Of Zion while you wait.
When He comes indeed,he will have no option but to say-;
“You are indeed more valuable than rubies and though he has seen other wonderful women,you surpass them all”

You can be all this WHILE U WAIT!
