I woke up this morning with “Shall I command a word and it shall not come to pass?” ringing in me.
And I love it, love it, love it! when I wake up with a word in my spirit… as in, you don’t need no devotional when that happens and there’s just an extra bounce in your steps when you go out.
The Word!
Our life!
So as I meditated on that word, I was just led to Isaiah 55.
âMy thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,â says the Lord . âAnd my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. âThe rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
-Isaiah 55:8-11 NLT
And reading this again now, is bringing smiles to my face in just great ways.
This wasn’t what I was going to share today but aside from the fact that the other video/study isn’t ready, I just felt like, perhaps someone else could use the spring in their steps that this word gave to me.
I know that this is May 2016, and so many of us came into 2016 with great words from God.
I don’t mean the Word you pulled off of a tree, I mean the Word that was so highlighted in your spirit man, you knew it was literally God making a promise personally to you.
I have a lot of those Word’s in my heart/under my belt/hidden under my shokoto too.
And truth be told, there are days ehn, days when you are like “what is this? But why is the Word not yet fulfilled?”
This morning, after God led me to the fact that none of His word falls to the ground void, He again led me to this…
“Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.”
Isaiah 43:26 KJV
Put me in remembrance Frances…
Bring your case to me.
What word/promises did I tell you I would do?
Now, remind me of them, lay it down on my table.
Do you think that God is a God who forgets?
No!
The ancient of days can reach back into a million years ago and tell you what happened in day 206 of that year.
But then He says put me in remembrance, let US plead together.
Why?
I’d love to think of the reason for that being the reason why He has always does what He does with us, sending His son to die for us… for Love’s sake. For relationship sake. For us basically even, not even for Him.
He is saying speak to me.
What grievances do you have against me?
Did I speak and you have not yet seen it?
Oya, lay it all down before me, remind me of what I said again, call me forth to fulfil them.
Essentially, pray my daughter.
Pray my son.
Talk to me to manifest that which I have told you that I will do.
Don’t just leave the Word that I told you in a box.
When it seems to you like it’s not going to happen, come back to me and lay it all bare before me, remind me of what I said, and you’ll see that I do what I say I will do.
I just have a broad smile on my face sharing this Word this morning.
God is set to do something new.
He is opening up pathways in the deserts.
Springing forth water in the dry waste land.
And everyone of His Word shall come to pass… everything He said will happen to me (us) in this 2016 shall happen.
We are the very first prophets over our lives and we shall have whatsoever we say (Mark 11:22-24)
I believe, thus I speak.
“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.”
Luke 1:45 KJV
I don’t know what it is that you are believing God for or holding onto in God.
He said that “He shall not command a thing and it shall not come to pass”.
Today is a good day to reinforce your faith and belief in God by bringing forth His Word back to Him.
Put Him in remembrance.
Lay them down before Him.
Plead your case dear.
God won’t bite.
He loves to hear your voice and loves to hear you speak to Him.
For the same reason why He sent His son to bridge the gap between you and Him… Love…He loves you and loves to hear from you.
Grumbling and murmuring doesn’t do anything.
Take your Daddy’s Word back to Him today and remind Him of all He has promised.
And when you are done having that conversation with Him, I hope you leave renewed and refreshed like I did this morning, knowing that our Father’s word never falls to the ground void.
I know we all know these things already and that’s the reason why our Christian faith is so amazing.
It’s so simple in practicality in relating with God.
There are times when the Word we have known just comes alive in us and in situations and in those times, you see just how much the word is life, truth, peace and joy.
Prayer:
Father we thank You for you have kept us till this time, this day, this minute.
You have given us life up until now and we are so grateful.
Thank you because your word is your bond.
And every Word that comes out of your mouth can never return to you void.
I remember every promise that you have made to me and I know you remember also, but today I just want to bring them to your remembrance once again (I recounted mine at this point).
I call for a manifestation of your Word to me Lord, a fulfillment of your promises in my life.
I believe and totally believe in your supremacy and your Word.
You reign Lord, I know, the earth and land beneath the earth knows.
Thank you Lord for you will do what you said you will do.
For in Jesus name I have prayed, amen.
I wish you a day filled with bouncing steps in the Lord 🙂
Till our next online Bible study,
Love,
Frances.

The spirit is one! Hian! I want to shout this out loud!!!!
This was exactly what happened to me today. I started praying and saw a promise from God that I pasted on my wall since 2014!
“He will watch over His word to perform it” was what was dropped in my spirit.
I actually started declaring and reminding God of His promises concerning some issues in my life. Today I took it a step higher and have been declaring the word He gave me in the morning!
Pls, continue to post according to the leading of the Holy Spirit!
I needed this.
Thanks babe!

May 12, 2016 at 8:19 amMy Pastor would say “God is watching over His word to perform it, not watching over tears and crying, but His word, locate His word and He will locate you”.
Thank God for loving us so much and giving us the secret to His heart, to His coming through for us, it’s His word.
The Word is Him…love is Him and He never fails.
Waiting for your testimony too B dearie 🙂
And yes by God’s grace, may the words on here, always be a word in due season in Jesus name, amen!
