The POWER in the WORD

Hello beautiful,

I would like to speak on a topic I choose to call ‘The POWER in the WORD’!
Main text is in Psalm 138:2:
“I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: FOR THOU HAST MAGNIFIED THY WORD ABOVE ALL THY NAME”.
This scripture should be clearly marked in all Bibles that are produced!! For herein lies all the power! God has given to us the most useful means by which we may benefit of His fullness in Psalm 138:2.
Let me draw a quick picture;
In Proverbs 18: 21 it says “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”.
In this verse we are made to understand the potential which lies in the words we speak, it can bring forth life and it can cause to die. Therefore our tongues are  perhaps the smallest of all our organs but the most powerful; James 3: 5.

Now having got this knowledge of the creative/ destructive powers in our tongues how much more of this same power do we think rests in the Creator of Heaven and Earth in whose image we were made? Thus, we can see this awesome power at work in Genesis 1 &2, when he simply speaks and all that we know as the universe comes into being.
Hold on… I’m going somewhere 🙂
Now the word of God is as true as it gets, nothing stands truer and nothing is surer.
So in Psalm 138:2, we are simply intimated of a glorious revelation; that despite who God is, {The God of all flesh and Father of all Spirit, The I Am, The All Sufficient One, The Ancient of Days…}, He has made the choice to glorify what He says above who He is.
Meaning you can take His word to the bank! All of His integrity lies in His word! If He said it, then be rest assured that He will do it! Psalm 55:11.
Therefore when you speak the Word concerning every and any situation so long as you believe, your situation MUST submit to the Word.
In the words of a wise man ‘God’s word in His mouth is as powerful as God’s word in your mouth’!
Let me repeat that… God’s word in His mouth is as powerful as God’s word in your mouth!!
*only if you can see me do the jiggle*
Now God’s word concerning every situation we face can be found in the 66books of the Old and New Testaments. All we need to do to make sure that we are getting the best out of this is to ‘eat’ the word! Jeremiah 15:16, Joshua 1:8 (No pasting the passages here for you, Whip out your Bibles and read these passages jor, its a Bible Study)

This was phenomenal for me, it turned on the waterworks as usual but darling this was one of those ‘ rhemas’ that hits you when you just need a word from The Lord and oh dear was it real to me. I hope it meets you at your point of need and calms your soul  as well as give renewed life to your beautiful spirit.
Love always,
Roxandra A.

I dare say like Topazo said in his comment on Roxandra’s last post, that her writing has a soothing effect on the soul.
A I read this again yesterday, what I just got was – “Speak the word, speak the Word and it is done” 🙂
