Sow That Seed

I have come a long way from where I was at the beginning of the year.
In January 2015 when God asked me to give my proposed business capital, I wept as I went to drop it at where He had said to do so.
Today, December 29th 2015, I smiled on my way home from dropping another seed that God had asked me to sow… and also began thanking God because in that moment of gratitude, I recognized what He has done in my life… He has so worked on me, I no longer cry at the opportunity to give, instead I rejoice.
Why?
Because I have understood some certain truths…

(1) “Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.”
Psalm 126:5

(2) “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.”
Genesis 8:22

(3) “Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only.
For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that ABOUNDS TO YOUR ACCOUNT.”
Philippians 4:15-17 NKJV

Notice that Paul was only talking about the gift He was given by the Philippians not just because the gift helped him, but because he understood the fact that gift actually brings fruit that abounds to the giver’s account.
So the giver isn’t at the loosing end, the giver is the one who’s blessed by his giving!

God has so made me understand this fact that whenever He asks me to give – more especially when I cannot afford to give what He asks me to release, I obey and then thank Him for the opportunity to be drafted into the league of those He wants to bless.
Or don’t you guys know that that’s what it means?
When God keeps tugging on your heart to sow and give, what He is saying is “I want to bless you!”
He works with principles and what He is basically doing is to get you to work in line with the principle of prosperity and receiving blessing from Him so fruits can abound to your account!
It’s amazing really.

So as I started out on my way home this morning, it didn’t seem like anything had left me… it seemed like God just loves me so much… so so much as to give me the opportunity to sow with this thing called money so I can reap my fruit in due time.

After our Greater Glory conference, Pastor Nat said something at “born to worship programme…”
He said some of you, God will be tugging on your heart to sow…
When he said that, I was like “you are speaking to me!”

Believe me, I don’t have much financially right now but in this season God has asked me to give from what I cannot afford to give out even when I see no physical return/income to get what I gave out back.
And I can’t even tell some persons these things because I seem stupid to them, but today I am thankful for this opportunity to operate in the kingdom mentality regarding money.

I didn’t know that I was going to put this up as #OnlineBibleStudy today.
I just had two posts I wanted to publish before the year ends, a prayer for the blog and evaluation of my goals…
But as God laid this on my heart based on Philippians 4:17 up there, I thought maybe this is for someone out there.
Probably God has told you to sow some seeds into some persons lives and you’re struggling with it.
You cannot afford to let the money go like me…
You don’t see how you’ll survive after you sow it… you’ve planned the cash to last for a certain time…

Oh dear, God wants to bless you, that’s why He is asking you to sow.
Did you see the Genesis passage up there?
God deals with principles and everyone who sows has a time to reap.
You shouldn’t give to get it back but I’m just trying to tell you that God isn’t trying to punish you by telling you to give, He is trying to bless you!

This end of the year is a good time to sow those seeds and let God go to work on them in preparation for the new year.
Trust me, you also can be worked on by God to the point where you rejoice at giving and not cry.
I cried in January eh, when God said drop your business capital.
I had already planned the business I would start, told my dad and all and when he even asked me about it, I couldn’t say that God asked me to sow the money…
But sow I did and as I stood at the front of the fellowship to see the President, God gave me that word in Psalms… “those who sow in tears will reap in songs of joy”.
I didn’t know where it was in the Bible, I had to google it to find it out.

Today I sowed with joy and again God gave me “not that I want anything from you, but I desire that fruit may abound to your account”.
You see what God wants to do for you by asking you to sow that seed?
He wants to bless you!

Don’t let 2015 pass by without dropping that cash, clothes, food, etc that God has asked you to give out.
You are sowing seeds that God Himself will water and cause to grow on your behalf.
The glory we want to step into in the coming year has a price and this price might involve stripping you of earthly material so God can give you the eternal materials that indeed matter.
Don’t miss out on this… don’t miss out on it.

Prayer:
Lord we thank you that we are among those who you love so much, you teach us to live by your ways.
Thank you for the blessing of giving… I pray that I would always live in accordance to your kingdom mentality on giving.
May my hands always release what you ask me to release and may my fruit in you continue to abound in Jesus name, amen.

Till our next online Bible study (next year right?)
Love,
Frances.

Thank God for the grace to give.
The Bible says it’s more blessed to give than to receive.

i have been asked by the Holy Spirit to give to someone only to realize that he had sent a word ahead to the Person who needed it badly days before that something was coming.
I was floored. Thank God I did not second guess his voice. And did as he asked.

God is faithful Sis. All you have sown will never be wasted. It will bear fruit in Jesus name.
    Well done.

I think it’s amazing that God trusted that you’ll give the person the seed, so much so that He told the person you were coming…may we always be trust worthy stewards of God in Jesus name, amen!

And amen and amen to your prayers! Tis great to have you on here..welcome!

I praise God for His work in your life. You are a blessing in our generation. I started the year with a give less mantra and save more cause I thought I have given so much in by he past. After this I will yield to the Holy Spirit and ask that he directs my giving. I can so relate to those who sow in tears and as long as the earth remains seedtime and harvest shall never cease.
Lord I praise you for your word because it shall never change.

The way to give in the kingdom works inversely Ijeoma… its just the way it is.
Thank God for speaking to your heart on this…yield, obey and like He always tells me “when the clouds are full, the rain will fall”
The seeds will surely germinate and grow!!!

      And welcome to the blog..
