From my journal…
31st August 2014
On a bus to Agric Lagos.
“Frances, you are worried as to whether you will have 16k after this first two years to work with for your blog but if I am calling you out to do something bigger with your blog and reach more lives then trust that I will provide what you need to do that.
Just trust… just trust…
Trust that I know what you need and I will provide. I shall provide what you need.”
1st September 2015
A DM on twitter:
“Frances, where have you been, I’ve been trying to ring you all day, your phone is off. Send me a number I can reach you at…”
I sent it.
Call came in:
“Frances, what do you usually use for your blog, are you self hosted or how do you do it?
Okay, you pay for the hosting plan and domain name right?
What about subscription plan, does it last till the next month…?”
I though she wanted to self host too so I answered all her questions…
And then she said:
“I would love to sow a seed into your blog, I just think that your blog is such a blessing…”
As I type that right now, I am all teary eyed…
Because one year after God gave me His word on provision when I was scared about going all out with the blog like He wanted me to do, He kept His word (like He always does).
What this lady who availed herself to be used by God didn’t know was that my domain name was scheduled to expire on September 11th.
My host had already attempted to renew it but the account I use for the blog deals had zero naira in it so the renewal attempt bounced.
I looked at the mail they sent to me and just made a mental note to withdraw some money from my savings and deposit at that account but God didn’t even allow me to do that.
He kept His Word!
Last year when God began to tell me what He has for me was a scary time in my life.
When He gave me the plan for the blog and asked me to self host and move from my free wordpress blog, but I was scared about the money needed, I was scared about loosing followers, I was scared about everything.
But God is faithful!
One year later and I have learned that He is enough.
He is enough.
I am struggling to find words to explain what I mean but it’s not just coming out right.
What I truly want to say is that the one lesson I have learnt in my two years blogging journey is that GOD is above everything, even above the blog – above what He has given me to do for Him.
So when He says move, I will move.
When He says go, I will go.
When He says wait, I will wait.
His word is all I need.
Today marks the second year blogoversary for this blog… and what’s on my mind really?
For grace to be found worthy to be a vessel unto honour.
For amazing surprises in God.
In 2013 I had no idea that what I was starting up would fulfil a whole different agenda in God’s plan.
I simply started up a blog because it was laid on my heart to do so.
The words refused to stay inside my head.
They wanted to be let out..and God simply took it over from there. And He still says that there’s more.
It’s amazing what happens when one avails themselves to be used by God. He just goes all out and turns the little into much.
The words on this blog, the wisdom, the lives changed… I claim none of it. I can’t do it and I don’t claim to be intelligent enough to do what this blog does in lives.
People say your words ring in my head every time and I wonder?
They say you always write about what I go through at the time it happens… how does that happen?
I am not a psychic with powers to know what’s up in people’s lives.
It’s not me… I’m not even a good enough writer in the eyes of men, but still, God uses me. Still. And I am mega grateful.
Ghost readers who don’t comment here, I see you all. (lol).
Do take a moment everyone to pray for imperfectly perfect lives blog today.
What’s the request?
The one prayer point that it has always been…
Pray that God’s Spirit wll continually breathe on this blog.
That souls will find refreshment and healing in Jesus when they come in here.
That imperfect lives will be turned around to Christ’s perfection with the words on here.
And that hearts will draw deeper unto Jesus… more and more and more in Jesus name, amen!
Happy 2nd year blogoversary to this blog.
I made a pact with you all in this post when I just started the self hosting plan and was discouraged… I made a pact not to close up the blog but see if I can give it some 5years of writing for Jesus.
Can I just say that I won’t even dream of doing that now…!
God has a plan for this blog and I knew that last year but just wasn’t so strong in fixing my eyes on Jesus.
Now I see…
This is my path in purpose…
This..this blog is all God and I love Him… I love Him too much not to work on what He has placed in my hands to do as He gives me grace to do so.
The years are still counting, Jesus is still my anchor.
Jesus is still the name we are shouting out loud.
Jesus is still the name I want you all who read this blog to shout out loud.
God bless and bless and bless and mega bless us all on the blog in Jesus name, amen!
Imperfectly perfect lives family, we are indeed the blessed of the Lord (As everyone in Christ is too) 🙂
Till Next Year’s Milestone Comes Around Again,
P.S: I can’t close this up without saying thank you to everyone on the blog.
God has just so connected with awesome people here, it amazes me and blows me away every single time!
Thank you for being ablessing dears!
Now unto the “more” that God has for us, amen!

Well done and congratulations! I know God has been your strength, and without Him, you wouldn’t have made it this far. I celebrate the God in you, and the numerous testimonies are only a little of what God is set to do with you, and all that He has called you to do on this earth.
You have been such a blessing to me, and I praise God that you exist. Keep shining!
