Awakening Youths

My NGO Awakening Youthful Seeds For Christ Initiative Goes Live!

Hello my darling blog family!

I am excited and also a bit nervous to share this today.

If you are an “old blog fam”, then you know that I started “Awakening Youths” in schools when I was a Youth Corper (how time flies! October this year would make it two years since I passed out of NYSC).

After spending some time with God in January 2015, asking Him what He had for me to do, I got that my work in schools hasn’t ended, it had just begun. I was led to register the NGO and get started. I started the process even when I didn’t have money and God met me at the point of my need.

An amazing lady did the registration for free and the money was sent from places I can’t even explain. Take note that I had no 9-5 job in 2016 so the provision was proof that God was with me.

But then I had it in mind to work with other NGO(s) and get trained and anytime I got NO from them, I would cry and sulk and just be so discouraged in my spirit.

Oh 2016 was a year indeed!

The final NO I got was in December and after that I heard the still small voice saying “why don’t you go ahead with what God has told you to do?”

I argued and I won’t say I am not arguing anymore but I am ready to obey this 2017.

We are still not starting so big like massively yet but I am starting the work I know I should have gotten on in 2016.

So “Awakening Youthful Seeds For Christ Initiative” is live!

What do we do?

You all know my story.

God wants me to use it to raise up youths to walk in purpose for Him.

We advocate purity (and not just virginity), train youths on skill acquisition and more importantly, we aim to reap these young souls for Jesus.

We are starting with seminars in Girls Secondary Schools and seminars in Universities.

We have planned our first seminar for this January and the first seminar for a University will hold in April 2017 God willing.

For sponsorship, inquiries, etc, please email awakeningyouthfulseeds@gmail.com

I started this NGO as a youth corper and I know the immense benefits of pouring into lives.

So we have provision for volunteers also.

If you want to be a volunteer, see HERE for more information.

As time goes on, we will have our own website but for now, please permit me to use IPL as our base, being that I may post accountability posts, etc, just like I used to do in 2015.

The aim is to firstly inspire you on the work God has set you on and secondly to keep me accountable.

God bless you all for your support in years past and your support in the years to come.

Love,

Frances,

    Well done darling!

Can’t wait to see the things God will do through your org and the lives that will be changed. Don’t be afraid boo, because God has gone ahead. The kind of crazy social work He’s been putting in my head to do when I get back to Nigeria ehn…only He can fund it. Lol. So, I better not try to do anything on my own.

Be encouraged. A mustard seed faith can move mountains, how much more an organization like yours! I’d definitely love to help in one way or the other when I return (by God’s grace).

Plus, I love the logo. Well done darling. Keep shining…
