Metamorphosis…

Ah, can I just testify as to how great it is to be able to blog from my phone again? Like on the go?? Praise the Lord!!
My q10 hasn’t arrived sha but my phone didn’t go bad after all, the battery’s still acting up, the phone still misbehaves and I lost ALL my unpublished write ups but no matter, I am just super glad to be able to blog on the go again. Ah, with the hectic schedule I have going on here, typing with a laptop is so out of it and it just seemed like with my write ups lost, my creative juices stopped flowing, but oh, thank God for restoration like E said. Somebody praise the Lord again!!!
Phew! Don’t be bothered, I am not crazy, I just feel gooood!

I’ve been on an Holy Ghost high since sunday, or no, since saturday. After JUG at DCC, I attended metamorphosis an event organized by awesome treasures on foundations sunday with Mrs Olajumoke Adenowo impacting us under the unction of the spirit and I tell you, I feel different, I feel alive!!
This week, my church RCCG-the Oasis(youth Church) is also holding a program on the power of the spirit with Nathaniel Bassey ministering and you can imagine how I feel.
As a matter of fact, as I type this, I feel like bursting out in tongues! Yes, its that serious! Ah, my 2014 is on to a great start with God and it must remain this way!
Oh, I feel blessed already and the finale of the programme isn’t even here yet! Its getting better and better, greater and greater!!

Before I get carried away, I just wanted to share something that hit me profoundly in Metamorphosis.
Pastor M talked about it in JUG too and it seems like one thing we really have to be mindful of this 2014…

Our relationships – relationships including romantic relationship,friendships, acquaintances and the like…
Mrs Olajumoke Adenowo read from Joshua 2, about Rahab, you know, Rahab the harlot(it struck me as to how people with great stories that God used were those with some “skoin-skoin” in their lives, like seriously? Rahab the harlot??but I digress)
Ok, she talked about how Rahab had to chose between giving up the two spies from Israel into the king of Jericho’s hands or hiding them and aligning with Israel, with a God who could take her forward and into greater things and she chose the israelites.(And for the king to know Rahab’s house means she wasn’t just a small harlot o, she was a madam in ashewo business but I digress again)

Ok, notice how Rahab chose the Israelites and their God?
What do you associate her with when you hear her name today?
As a harlot or as a kind woman that helped the Israelite spies and who was wise enough to align with them and their God and let her ashewo business go?

So also this 2014, we’ll have to chose the people we let into our lives, the people we align ourselves with…
You just cannot grow or move into your greater with some persons in your life.
Metamorphosis (change) cannot occur in your life if you do not make the necessary changes, including in your relationships.
For you to be successful, some people will have to go.
A lot of delay we experience in life is because of the people we carry with us.
Analyze the relationships in your life, start from the 7 closest people in your life, critically analyze and look at the them objectively, you cannot grow beyond where they lead you, you cannot grow beyond the kind of person they are, analyze them!
And the 7people include your husband/boyfriend/girlfriend o, yes, he/she is one of the closest person to you, and that’s why single ladies, we gotta marry well! But I digress again…

Now she said, if you see anyone God’s blessing and working for good in their lives this year, draw close to them, align yourself with them sharpaly!

Joshua 8:13
“Before the spies were down for the night, the woman came up to them on the roof and said, “I know that GOD has given you the land. We’re all afraid. Everyone in the country feels hopeless. We heard how GOD dried up the waters of the Red Sea before you when you left Egypt, and what he did to the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you put under a holy curse and destroyed. We heard it and our hearts sank. We all had the wind knocked out of us. And all because of you, you and GOD, your God, God of the heavens above and God of the earth below.
Now promise me by GOD. I showed you mercy; now show my family mercy. And give me some tangible proof, a guarantee of life for my father and mother, my brothers and sisters—everyone connected with my family. Save our souls from death!”

The difference between those who will make it in 2014 and those who won’t include the relationships they keep. Remember how Israel waxed stronger in battle when Moses hands were lifted and supported by Aaron and Hur?

Exodus 17:12

So also will we need people to lift us up this 2014, we’ll need Aarons and Hurs.
Chose them carefully, some people cannot lift us up for us to wax stronger in battle.
And for some of us who are finding it difficult to let go, God will draw us out from such relationships somehow and when He does that this 2014, do not go crawling back to them, LET THEM GO!!!
If they aren’t ministering to your spirit, to your academics, to your career, to your spiritual life…LET THEM GO!

Ah, if I go on to share all I got from metamorphosis, this post will be too long, So the above is just a little of what I learnt, just one of the many that hit me so profoundly, I feel it would be a sin not to share 😀

I pray God helps us to terminate every relationship that will drag us down and that will stop us from changing into who he wants us to be.
I pray that he will give us grace to align ourselves with the ones that can take us to our glorious destiny and help us step into greater like Rahab did in Jesus Name amen!

Btw, if you see all the lessons Mrs Jumoke drew out of the Rahab story eh, you go bow! Goes to show that there’s a lot more in God’s word and we wouldn’t know if we don’t study it and let the Holy Spirit reveal all truth unto us. Ah, I pray for more Grace Lord…

This is basically a praise the Lord post for everything He’s done this week and Is still doing for me…
A thank you Lord for the infilling of His spirit in me…
A I praise you Lord because I know me and everyone connected to me will continue to grow in your spirit…
