#Purposeful Living Maximizing Your Potential Series

Maximizing Your Potential || Run & Stay Faithful

My brother sent me a voice note on Whatsapp. It was from a woman who God has used her moi moi as a tool to make her stand before Nations.

And as I listened to it my spirit kept leaping inside me.
Oh the gift of a man makes room for him and brings him before great men.
The potentials of a man clears the way for him…

But the potentials have to be used first.
The man has to go to work.

“The servant with two bags of silver also went to work and earned two more.”
-Matthew 25:17 NLT

“And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
-Habakkuk 2:2 KJV

Now what happens after you make the vision plain/write on the tables?

You run.
You go to work.

With your potentials God has given you to accomplish that vision, you run with the vision.

How?

You start executing it in whatever little way the Lord has shown you to do.

Start small if that’s the step He has shown you. Start from your street. Your community and even though God has called you to the nations, He may want you to start to run from your one bedroom apartment.

I am currently in Ekiti State and what am I doing here?
I still don’t know for certain yet.
But one thing I know is I am meant to run with my Beautiful Feet Publishing business here.
I was going to hold the Conference at Lagos when I heard start from NYSC.
So here am I starting from NYSC in Ekiti State.
Got the approval and started inviting the corpers to come for the training.

Is it a far cry from what God has said concerning me?
Yes, but I am running with the step He has placed in front of me first.

The Women At the Well which I founded is a group birthed out of a deep place in me, I know God’s word in my life as regards my ministry to ladies but guess what?
We held the meet in Ado-Ekiti (which was awesome by the way) with just five ladies in attendance.

Does that negate God’s vision for it?
No.

But I am running step by step as He shows me to do.

Deposits guys.
Deposits.

God gives us deposits in form of our potentials like He did the servants in Matthew 25 and tells them to go to work.

Foolish servants despise the deposits they are given.
According to Pastor Poju, they look at it in a defective form and say “what is this among so many”?

I used to be like that with my books.
I hated my first book..the way the cover came out…Hated how it was arranged, etc.
But oh my Lord, how dumb was I?

The Master gives in accordance with our ability and expects us to use that little and bring much. Double what He has given you.

The women at the well will be one year tomorrow and oh we may not be near the vision yet but we ran and I can say Lord we doubled what you gave us in November 2015.
We are in two cities in Nigeria now.
And more than the eight that started it in Lagos.

Do you see how running with your potentials maximizes and expands it?

Run and carry the message to others.
Don’t worry about helpers, God would raise Cyruses for you when you need them.
He would  raise Hurs and Aaron to hold your hands steady when you need them.

But Hur and Aaron may not always be available and this is where you need to be able to STAY FAITHFUL whether you have accolades or not.

You have to be able to serve God faithfully where He places you till He calls you out of there.

I don’t write on this blog because I always feel like writing. But God told me to stay faithful here and I have got to stay put and not go jumping around.

I still hear loud and clear God’s word about this blog.
It’s  to the Nations.
Men and women will come flocking here in search of the truth we spill someday soon.
Is it happening now?
A little bit but not in the magnitude God means it to be.

Do I pack up shop and leave?

No.

I stay faithful right here.

Its same with our potentials.

FAITHFULNESS BEGATS ELEVATION.

Do we know how long David had to tend sheep?
No.
But One Day… God was ready to pull Him right out into more.

As you go to work and run, don’t depend on circumstances to be the basis of what you do.

You have to determine to stay right there even if no one comes along with you.
No excuse is good enough for leaving your place because when God is ready for you, guess where He will come looking for you?

Where He told you to stay.

So invest.
Go to work.
And as you run and execute in whatever little way He shows you, don’t get sidetracked.

You may have to stay with the sheep and goats over and over again but thats fine.

Stay faithful.

That’s the only way you can hear these words:

The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!”
-Matthew 25:21 NLT

You want more?
The road to more is through running and staying faithful.

See you all here for the last post in this series next week.

Love,
Frances.

You run. You go to work. You do not sit down and wish.
There’s nothing like diligently pursuing the plan God has for you.
I just said a prayer for your program in December.
    Thanks for an inspiring read!
