#Purposeful Living

Lessons Learnt…

So Nelson Rohihlaha Mandela died on 5th December 2013.
I didn’t weep,I wasn’t sad.
I celebrated and smiled.
He had lived long and achieved greatness and His legacy continues.

I learnt a lot from thinking about the Madiba that was(and still is).
Amongst the lessons I saw, these ones resounded so deeply;“There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountain tops of our desires”

Let’s replace the freedom with dreams…
There is no easy walk to attaining your dreams. You will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before you reach the mountain tops of your desires.

He said;
“Difficulties break some men but make others. No axe is sharp enough to cut the soul of a sinner who keeps on trying, one armed with the hope that he will rise even in the end.”

So what do you chose?
Do you chose to see that you will rise again?
Or you chose to let the difficulties break you?

While reflecting on Madiba’s life,I’ve learnt to stand strong even in the face of adversity,to have courage and wait for my dreams to come to reality.
I’ve learnt to live for what I believe in.
I’ve learnt that strength of character and will can take one to a glorious end.
I’ve learnt to never back down while passing through the dark valley en route the mountain tops of my dreams…
I’ve learnt to never let the difficulties break me.
I will,I must rise in the end.

Will you?

This new week,be determined to write the vision and if it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way and it will come right on time(Habakkuk 2:2-3)

And while it tarries, determine that the difficulties will not break you.
Arm yourself with the hope that you will rise, even in the end!

Adieu Madiba.
I weep not at your demise.
Rather I celebrate you.
You were a great man and you showed forth the greatness in you.
Your words were true when you said you’ll be content with just Mandela engraved on your tombstone.
Indeed, the name “Mandela” engraved on your stone is sufficient because we all know what it stands for!

Happy New Week People.
Remember to show forth the greatness in you.
And oh,pls see these also for a great start of the week.

Have a blessed week!

And I couldn’t resist,I had to drop these quotes from Madiba.
“There are few misfortunes in this world that you cannot turn into a personal triumph if you have the iron will and the necessary skill.”

Truly True!

Truly True!

Ok,bye for real now,Much Love…

    Amazing write-up!

And you are right, we shouldn’t be sad but rather celebrate his long and purposeful life.
    RIP Mandela
