Just Us Girls + More….

So I had an amazing day yesterday, I get home, thought I should write about what I learnt and share on my blog, but my phone somehow had water in it but it was still manageable and I had typed some parts of what I wanted to write when it crashed. Ah! My phone crashed, along with all my writings which Lizzie had graciously suggested I use memo pad for whenever inspiration comes to me and I have been doing that for weeks now but didn’t backup my files. twas a nightmare and its still a nightmare but I sha wont cry, I haven’t been able to reload software on the phone like they said I should or do anything, I am just praying for a miracle. So, this is me braving the odds against this post to compulsorily share what I wanted to share with you all. The devil; aint got nothing on this, lai lai.

Ehen, let me do small aproko,do you know that the reason why people keep you at arms length/do not want to be your friend maybe because of the ‘doosa’ that comes from your mouth? Do you know that if you want amazing teeth like this you are not supposed to keep the upper and lower teeth locked together when you brush but apply the toothbrush horizontally to the surface of your teeth, move the brush downwards for the upper teeth and upwards for the lower, with the mouth open ensuring that both upper and inner surfaces of the teeth are brushed as well as the biting surfaces. hmm, I learnt that in Just us girls in David’s Christian City yesterday o (yes Lizzie, I finally attended). I sha saw Pastor Mildred, she looked so beautiful, I was ‘star struck” even though I’ve talked with her online before, and I snapped no pictures because my phone was misbehaving which reminds me, all ye my bbm contacts reading this, subscribe to my blog via email, I may not be able to send you personal links for a while…

I was feeling a bit down on Friday and was almost at the end of my tether because of stress and the overwhelming nature of everything here but was boosted a little when my goals for 2014 was published on www.eziaha.com but what I am about to share totally rejuvenated me, God always knows when I need motivation and he sends it. I lost my badass glasses and foine earing on the way to DCC sha o but no matter, I was blessed!

So here’s what Pastor M talked on for single and married ladies alike…

(1)She read Exodus 14:10-16 which talked about the action film of the Israelites leaving Egypt and Pharaoh turning around to pursue them again after letting them go, you sha know the Israelites were weeping and scared, they wanted to go back to Egypt even after they saw that God had fought for them before and brought them out of Egypt. in 2014 challenges may come even after we’ve testified in 2013 but don’t let that make you forget the things God has done for you in 2013, the God that delivered you and gave you victories is still able to do same in 2014

(2)This year, we need to have dogged faith in God. Be bold in Christ. you know when Moses calmed down the Israelites and told them to ‘stand still and see the salvation of God’ he didn’t even know what God will do yet. Imagine if he had given up, the Israelites would have been so fried in the hands of Pharaoh eh… So this year, keep moving in faith, you hope to get married this year? keep moving in faith. Praying for a job, business, masters, children…speak it all forth in faith.

(3)Re evaluate your friendships. Some people that were slaves with you in Egypt cannot enter into Canaan with you. You have to leave some friends behind,you may need to tell some people bye bye, they cant enter into 2014 with you. Like Ezar said ‘this year, we are all for good uplifting friendships and if it doesn’t help me spiritually, mentally, careervwise et al or inspire me to be better in any way, then i’m dashing the friend away, dashing them out tax free even'(paraphrased). And just as you let some friendships go, you gotta let  some in, you see anyone who God is blessing and working through? it means God is in the neighbourhood, make a conscious effort to be their friend and God will bless you too, simples. She even said na by fire by force sef, they must be your friend.

(6)Work on yourself. Make up is all good and fine but character is better. Make yourself a better person, do whatever you need to do to be an excellent woman within first before the without.

(7)Get busy, do not be idle. She talked about single girls that got pregnant outside wedlock, that she believes it was mostly because they weren’t busy, otherwise, where did they find the time to go live as a wife on credit for a man, cook for him, make his bed and then sleep on the bed and make babies if they were busy??? When you have not finished taking care of yourself and job/business, how will you find the time to be a live in lover for a man?

So in 2014 get busy, get a definite plan for your life, get a job, learn a trade, take care of yourself and don’t wait for a man to do that for you and for the married women, if you have to sell pure water to help your man, then please do.(her exact words) Don’t cross your legs and wait for only him to work for you to chop.

(8)Don’t joke with your fellowship with God this year, make up your mind to be one with God’s  word, go to church, fine tune yourself to hear from God, if Moses couldn’t hear from God, imagine how fried the Israelites would have been in Pharaoh’s hands.

Also, be faithful in the things of God, in sowing in His house, into people’s lives, in fasting and prayers if need be, in giving…
Don’t wait for extra motivation; make up your mind to do all it takes to spend time with God.

(9)Expect favour!
You don’t have to work for it, just stand still and see God work   (ehen, favour for my Q10 already o, I believe) + favour on you for things money cannot even buy will be common with you this year…

(10)Stand ready; don’t be lazy, you could be called out of the blue to tie gele for the Governor’s wife and her associates, for a job overseas, to execute the proposal you submitted before…
God will so bless us this year but you have to live ready in your area of expertise. Something GREAT can happen at any time.

Rock this year and remain squeeze it all out.

You are single? Flex it well, enjoy it, a time will come when jollying alone will be a luxury.

You are married with no kids yet? Travel with your hubby and play all the love, time for the kids dey come… And be that fun loving woman again. Remind your hubby of why he married you in the first place, be fun, lose the weight if you have to, leave the wrapper wrapper in 2013, dress well, remain a babe for him. Lol

A definite forward unto greater things will happen for us this year and because of you, everyone associated with you will move forward also.

*phew!

And that’s it people, my hands are hurting from typing (*crying* I need a new phone, it’s so easy to post from a phone. ah, Lord please)

Notice the way I jumped from 3 to 6 in itemizing the above points? I wrote nub 1-5 on my memo pad before my phone crashed and continued from 6 on my laptop but for the life of me,I cant remember what nub 4&5 was and my notes show that the points are complete. Anyhoos, you did learn from this as much as I did yeah?
I am having fun already, going to awesome places and coming back filled with wisdom. Yay!!!

Its 05:25am, my phone’s still acting up, I have to sleep a little and dream of my files intact after reloading software on my phone+I  gotta get back to the books, I gotta go to church, I gotta rest these fingers from typing this long something. but I think writing this was therapeutic though, despite the phone trouble, I still moved forward with my plans to post this. yay!
