Just Try…

He said there was no need to go to the school…

That he had spent so much money on the backup plan for next year…

After all, they have never accepted anyone with such an issue before…

He said he won’t spend another dime for something that’s not certain…

HE WON’T EVEN TRY…

I know someone who didn’t want to try too…

Esther told Mordecia …

Esther 4;11 “All the king’s officials and even the people in the provinces know that anyone who appears before the king in his inner court without being invited is doomed to die unless the king holds out his gold sceptre. And the king has not called for me to come to him for thirty days.”

In other words, Esther was saying that “The king has not sent for me for 30days and if I go and see him without an invitation, and he does not stretch forth his sceptre to me, that will be the end of me, I will be put to death…”

She was saying exactly what he said above – “no one has ever done that before and I WON’T EVEN TRY…”

God has said that nothing is too hard for Him to do and that is absolutely true but we have to do our part.

We have to go forth to see if He indeed will work on our behalf.

WE HAVE TO TRY.

But many of us like the “he” above don’t even want to budge.

Why won’t you try?

What do you have to lose by trying?

Esther tried at the urge from Mordecia after praying and fasting and we all know what happened.

The king not only held out the sceptre to her, he showed her so much favour, every word she uttered, every request she had, he acquiesced to.

She stepped out in faith after fasting and praying…

And we’ve fasted and prayed about that issue, what stopping us from stepping out in faith like Esther did?

If we don’t step out in faith, all you are going to get is a constant NO.

Who knows what lurks behind trying?

You could get a YES.

You may get a YES.

You can get a YES.

You think there’s no need to try because no one has succeeded in that path before…

You think all others failed in that venture so why try?

No one has ever travelled that road and succeeded so why bother, right?

But guess what?

You are not others.

You are backed by the God who holds the heart of a king in His hands and turns it which so ever way He pleases.

God can move the heart of that employer, that clearance officer, that school authority, that immigration officer, that king… to favour you.

He can break protocol for your sake.

So step out in faith this week and beyond, do not leave it at fasting and praying alone, step out in faith and TRY.

As regards whatever situation or issue it maybe, TRY!

What do you have to lose?

And even if you think there’s something to lose, set your face like flint and say like Esther…

esther

Do whatever it takes, but make up your mind not to sit still, step out in faith and try.

God is able, He won’t let you down.

He won’t fail.

JUST TRY!

Have a blessed week dearies.

With smiles, hugs and prayers,

Frances.

Wonderful words of wisdom…. Indeed, no harm in trying. Trying may just be the axe that will break the chains of pains and tribulations. God is willing and more than able.
God bless you and refill your pot of wisdom till it is running over 🙂
