I Can Do All Things…

And soooooo *drum roll*………………………….

I am back!!!

And I am not just back, I am strong, hale and healthy!! Full of smiles and basking in glory!

Oh, thank God for giving me health and cure like He promised He would in  Jeremiah 33;6.

I can’t thank God enough for the love that surrounded me throughout last week, from my personal nurse Faith my roommate, to Kelechi who didn’t let the strongggg Law School clinic bed to put friendship asunder but spent the night with me to keep an eye on me, to Tracy my second personal nurse, to Henry, Fola, Bisi, Ella, Jessica…..in fact I returned to my room with big Grand Square bags, my roommates were wondering if I was on admission or I went shopping… To the prayers said for me and with me, to people being scared and praying when I collapsed at the clinic…ah, I didn’t know I was that loved o, all  I can say is eshe, thank you all, I don’t take for granted the love and wonderful people God has surrounded me with.

Down to my Church, RCCG-The King’s Court-The Oasis, people I thought didn’t know me were holding hands with me and confessing God’s word on me when my lips couldn’t move. To my blog family, you all were all of amazing, thanks for the love…even Minister Nathaniel Bassey called me and prayed for me sef o, ah, the joys of a great Christian family.

Speaking of Nathaniel Bassey, I did mention we had a programme right? I fell ill on the last day of the programme, on the day we were to round up with the ministers anointing us to go forth in the power of the Spirit and I sha nor gree o, I had my eyes rolling in my head and my roommates supporting me and I went to Church. Aint no way satan will steal my blessings on the last day after a week of fasting and praying and in line with my normal way of allowing nothing come between what I want to share, below is what Nathaniel Bassey spoke on which ultimately, I felt was what gave me strength to go for service even though I had to hold onto my roommate and a guy I didn’t know (God bless him) for support to walk…

I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES ME STRENGHT….

Now Minister Nathaniel made it clear that all who live in godly will suffer persecution (2Timothy 3:12) and that the rain may very well come upon us, the storm may rage and the floodwaters will rise against us (Matthew 7:24-25) but through Christ in us, we will conquer…

Sometimes, you see people who read and jack like crazy with nothing to show for it or people or who work and work really hard with no tangible results forthcoming…

Our own I CAN DO ALL THINGS won’t be like that, we won’t rely on our own intellect, we won’t rely on our own skill, but on Christ, on the truth of our identity with Christ, by the Christ that lives in us, in the one in whom we live and move and have our being.

How to activate God’s strength in you?

(1)Wait on God for strength.

Lagos or what you do may not encourage waiting on God in silence but it doesn’t change the fact that we need to get out of circulation most times to renew our spirit man.

How do we wait? Minister Nathaniel to the rescue again- just sit in worship and praise to God, just wait on Him, probably with an anointed worship song that stills your spirit and worship…get into God’s presence, let your whole being come alive. The longer you wait and keep still in worship, the more you bless God, you break layers to get to God and He begins to fill and renew your mind  (una see worship ministers secret for free here so? I did this on my hospital bed o and yes, strength came, walahi! God inhabits praises o, let’s get on this)

(2)Faith-not just pulling out a scripture and praying with it, but meditating on it till it actually comes alive, till the rhema hits you, till it seems like you already hold in your hands that which you are praying for, till you feel you can do that which seems like a great obstacle staring you in the face.

(3)Prayer-this cannot be overemphasized, this puts fire to your faith and lights it up into the things God can do with and through you.

(4)Through weakness-recognize the fact that God’s strength can only be made perfect in your weakness, be ready to die to self and be a fool before God, He will make you wise before men.

Placing your weakness before God isn’t stupidity, tell Him you are weak and let God do it all because you can’t do ALL THINGS  by yourself alone even if you try.

(5)Finally, you cannot remove the Spirit of God from it all if you want to do all things-we are what we are not by strength but by the grace of God, not by intellect or skill but through Christ in us and we need HUMILITY for this truth to sink in. Let pride go, we ca n only do all things by functioning through Christ!

Happy New Month people, go with the mind-set that YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS this week, this new month and beyond, not because you are all that and a bag of chips, but because Christ worketh in you to give you the strength you need to achieve it all.
