Help me walk

One of the first things you would hear someone who has been given God’s blueprint for their path in Him say is “who will help me on this path?
Who will be my helper?”

And people around the person also don’t help matters as when you share your vision with someone, the first thing they ask you is “who are the members of your team?”
You have to have a team to help you nah, you don’t have one yet?

And the thoughts in your head are like “but God hasn’t told me anything about this oh, even I myself I am scared and see what everybody is saying…”

I can relate with you!

2014 was the year when God first started showing me a bit of what He wanted me to do in Him and even though the only thing I knew then was that I was to begin “Awakening Youths” in schools, I was still soooo scared!
The question about helpers was a re-occurring one in my life too.
I was like Moses, asking God series of questions, wondering if I could do what He said and when He answered that, I asked about helpers…
And even till today, I still wonder about helpers on my path in purpose…
But here’s what I have found out in this short sweet journey of dealing with God…
When He sends you on an errand, he provides what and WHO you need to help you fulfill the task He has sent you on.

Most of you must have read the story of how my book launch last year came to life.
It was one very trying and tough time in my life, filled with tears and literal holding onto God’s Word… I mean, I felt like I was holding onto scriptures in the palm of my physical hands!
And I am on another journey much like that one this year again.
My book “Making a difference with your NYSC year” is scheduled to be out this April 2016 and the bill the printers are calling seems like a joke.
Not only that but I’m currently registering my NGO for the works in schools/for youths and plans to put up the website and also plans to do the first round of schools in May this year and all these things would take helpers of destiny to achieve!

Last night the silly thought entered my head to just drop the whole book thing but thank God for a helper of destiny who spoke sense into my head…
And maybe you’ve already seen how this helper thing works already?
When I needed someone to boost up my faith last night, that helper of destiny was there with words from God for me.

Basically, at every step that you need a helper to come through for you, God will send them.

Maybe I need to repeat that again…

At every step that you need a helper to come through for you, God will send them.

They may not come at the beginning when you start walking in purpose but they come at the EXACT time you need them.
And guess who determines the exact time they come?
God.
Not you.
Our never late God determines the time they come and He brings them not a moment too soon or too late.

This morning I was reminded from the book of Luke 1 that our God is a prayer answering God.
You can’t look up to men but you can look up to God who holds all the men in His hands.
And when He puts those dreams in your heart and tells you to GO, don’t worry about who will be on my team…
Who will help me?
Just go… and as you walk in that path, all you need, including helpers shall gravitate towards you.

I wish I have uploaded the video of my interview with WigRadio where I spoke about starting up and letting helpers meet you on the way as you go on (I will upload this soon, forgive me).

But basically, I spoke on the fact that you can’t wait for the right circumstances to walk in purpose…
You can’t pen down that this my friend or uncle will help me and on the strength of that knowledge begin to walk in purpose.
No, God is our self-sufficiency and when you are stripped bare, then He can fill you up with all you need.
I am basically preaching to the choir as I need this truth to re-sink into my head at this point in time.
I need to again hold onto God’s word like my air and let it fill me up and you do need to do that too.

Your Hur who will hold up your hands is available on your path of purpose.
Step out into what God is calling you to do and keep asking Him to send help quickly to you.
He never fails.
He never shuts down your request.
Advance in faith in Him and watch Him cause all grace to abound towards you so you will always have all you need to abound in every good work! (2Corinthans 9:8)

I hope this series will meet someone out there at the point of their need.
I know we need help on our path in purpose…
We need serious help.
And I am in my own little way trying to help you as you step out in God.

By God’s grace, we’ll be having a meeting/discussion on purpose soon in Lagos in June (writing in faith), much like the one I’ve had at the correctional centre here and in December last year here.
Plans are on currently and I will share all the details when the time is ripe.
Then we can indeed see face to face, share our concerns and fears, fellowship in God and leave even more strengthened to stay on the path of purpose that He has placed us.

May our knees be strengthened and may we never grow weary of walking on the path God has placed us in… even if we grow weary, may we find strength to encourage ourselves in the Lord and move on, Jesus name, amen!

Have a blessed week ahead!

Love,
Frances.

Thanks so much o_see…yes you did say it right… and I have learnt not to joke with scriptures the Spirit pop into our head!

All things…not some things…ALL things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for their lives.

      Do we love God?
      Yes!
Are we called to walk in purpose in Him?

Thank you. I needed this, God has told me to do crazy things and I’ve always bothered about who will help me, how do I build a team? Who will believe in me and work with me, but I thank God I stumbled upon this article. All I need is step out, and at every point I need help, he’ll send helpers. I pray it sinks in. Frances thank you. What God is doing through you overwhelms me. Thank you for being a vessel.

I’m with you Gracey… on the seemingly crazy things God asks us to do… help is provided already and when we tend to worry, I pray we turn it into thanksgiving for the help we have already in Christ.

Try to read isaiah 41, it blessed my heart this morning.

      Much love babes!
