Aha!
Hi guys!
I hope you all winding down the year all good?
Okay, so I had this trip a loooong time ago but na today body do me to share the Chronicles on it.
I didn’t do a lot of trips this year, kind of laid low on sight seeing things, hopefully next year will be better (or this year? a surprise trip? Amen).
Let’s get down to all the deets from that day..
So I and my sister Amaka of www.amakamedia.com set out for the long anticipated trip on a Tuesday.
Yes, when people were going to work we were going to have fun.
We had planned the trip for months but one thing or the other kept coming up, so it was such a high for it to come to life!
We met up at Oshodi and then onto Mile 2 and from Mile 2 we took a bus to Badagry.
Hah! Two single girls just strolling around Lagos with no chaperone.
For those who wanna go, Badagry is 250Naira for a bus from Mile 2 (we were cheated sha, we paid 300 Naira while going).
Its pretty easy so don’t be worried to step out when you wanna go.
First stop was at the museum.
Kai!
What our fore-fathers suffered.

See the heavy chains they used for their necks..
Next stop was the Brazillian baracoon. Where the slaves were kept before they were shipped off to the obodo yibo.
We saw the plates and all they used for payment for one human being.
Terrible… felt so bad.
Anyway it was time for my fave part of the trip.. to the beach!
We had to go through  to the land of no return.
Where the slaves passed through when they had to enter the ship down to abroad.
We trekked down the land of no return (that’s what they call it)… and where it opened up to is glorious…
The beach was my best part of the trip… remember I shared here that I wanted a beach date with Daddy.
So this was it.. kind of.
We just had an ama-mazing time!
I didn’t take a lot of trips this year… so let’s say January 2017.. we begin wella again.
So guys there’s that.
So we filmed a video on the speed boat on the way to the beach… me I hate water but Amaka was forming adventurer. Me I couldn’t wait to get off the boat.
Amaka wrote an amazing post on our trip too (better than this one I wrote now).
