For The Vision Is For One Not All

“And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
Habakkuk 2:2 KJV

The last week saw satan trying to demoralize me in a way that failed woefully!

About two weeks back someone messaged me that she wanted to leave the women at the well online group. I was like oh okay because well, truly it was okay.

Fast forward last week a conversation gone awry and someone again left. I asked God how to walk in love. I come back apologize and in the process of doing that someone again messaged me and said her time in the group was over. This time I said God bless you and I meant it.

You see, in the process of meditating and asking God for what to do that day about the women ministry He had given me to lead I saw this:

“From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.”
John 6:66‭-‬71 KJV

They left Jesus too. In droves. And Jesus never called them back. In fact He turned and asked even those He called – those He was sure God has given Him – He asked them if they would leave too.

You see, for Jesus He was so certain about what God had called Him to do, people or no people – support or no support could deter Him not.  This man was so focused on the vision God has given to Him. Men didn’t call Him and men could not take away His call. When people left He wished them well and set out for the next town God was leading Him to go reach.

His mindset towards people was:

“And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.”
John 6:65 KJV

Jesus had just one focus – God and the vision God had given to Him and as for people, He left it to God to bring who He will at each time that it was needed.

I have thought and thought and ruminated on this and have decided that I want to be a woman who looks up and unto God and God alone. Not man.

After the women at the well March meet Pastor Ugo spoke to me and said “never build what God has given you around people. Some will say we will always be with you oh. Don’t listen to that. Whoever God sends to help tell Him thank you. If those ones leave He will raise another for you to reach/help. Look unto Him alone”.

And that advice was just God’s wisdom to me.

Last week was simply the practical for me and I was grateful.

See who God gave Habakkuk’s vision to… wasn’t it just him? No one else was there.

Don’t carry along who God hasn’t given to you on the path He has set you on..use Jesus as your template. Look unto Him alone. Fix your sights on Him. Look neither to the left nor the right. Look to Him to send you physical help and never see that physical help as your source.

In this race, we look up and unto God alone. Amen.

Till next time,

Remember today is a good day to become progressively like Jesus Christ.

Love,

Frances.

But the time is coming quickly, and what I show you will come true. It may seem slow in coming, but wait for it; it will certainly take place, and it will not be delayed. Habbakuk 2:3b…… That vision is almost full blown… May Godbless thy ministry
