For Everyone Desiring To Indeed Live In The Kingdom Of God

NOTE:
I have uploaded better words on this topic on a video on my youtube channel here or you can watch it below…

I pass out from NYSC tomorrow, thursday October 15th 2015 and yes, I can’t help but sing God’s praises. He has been ama-mazing this year.
As expected, it’s the season of everyone asking the next person “what’s next?”.
Everyone’s submitting CVS, and planning to move unto the next phase of their lives…
Me?
I know what God has for me and it’s not rushing off to submit CVS in companies.

No one told me when I surrendered myself to God’s purposes for my life that it will be a lonely road going forward.
It’s a road where no one else understands when you say “the law doesn’t mean anything spectacular to me except of course, He wants me to work at a firm somewhere. And even if He leads me to a firm, I know the money they pay me isn’t the deal, I am there to establish what God wants me to do there in that job. Learn the lessons, build the stamina He wants me to build for the future, etc, etc”.
I seem like an alien when I say that to friends and it’s always followed with words of “what will you eat, how will you feed? Etc, etc”.
But oh, isn’t that what we all quote from Matthew 6:33?

Matthew 6.31-33
“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”

But when it comes right down to living it out we get scared.
We are scared of what our parents and family and would say.
But do you know that what you will eat is not guaranteed in that job you seem to want to die for?
They can lay you off at any time… but my Jesus has said, pursue after me and the kingdom, and whatever you need, I will provide.

Pursuing the kingdom is more often than not a mindset.
Have you asked God what He wants you to do first of all before you started running around with Cv looking for the money?
Are you submitting your CV with the mindset that I am not just here to earn a salary, I am a kingdom representative here? God first of all wants to do something in me and through me wherever He places me…
I tell you all the truth, I mostly don’t even want to speak to people I know about this because not everyone gets it.
I have asked God who else is out there who understands Matthew 6:33.
Who else has sold themselves out to God’s purposes for their lives?
Is it just me?
Am I the only one who’s placing God first? Praying for His will and leaving the anxiety and hold of money and material possessions behind?
It gets lonely up here sometimes and truth is, I am not up to explaining what placing the kingdom first means for everyone today.
I believe that you have to personally come to the point where you let God take over your life… He takes over so much you relegate self to the background and let Him run everything and everywhere you go.
People are running around for companies, I’m running around for a book God has asked me to write and then, a series of seminars after now that He has laid in my heart to organize.
It makes me crazy to the world but I don’t care.
Let the world fall off of me Lord… more and more and more, let the world fall off of me…
And teach me, more about your kingdom… let me lose myself in reckless care in your arms.
I don’t know who else out there is interested in following after God’s plan for their lives…
Who else is desirous of not following after money but pursuing God… wherever He says and whatever He says…
But I uploaded a video on my Youtube channel with a bit of teaching and prayer on the kingdom of God.
What it means to indeed follow after Jesus in this kingdom.
If you are feeling pulled to come on over to this end, then watch the video below.
If you are struggling with how weird you seem to be to people around because you have stepped away from the world’s fascination with money and possessions, then watch the video.
If you like Ololade, wanted a snippet from the conference at Jos I just came back from, then watch the video.
You can watch it on my youtube channel here or below…

I pray that we will always find grace to pursue after God and what He has for us in Jesus name, amen.
Till Our next #OnlineBibleStudy,
Love,
Frances.

P.S:
I realize that this study isn’t the way our normal study usually goes.
But this is the way it came out of my heart and finger tips.
I can’t seem to really find the words to express what I feel about living for God.
It’s a bit disjointed… but I pray that the Spirit who gives life to words will give life to hearts who perhaps are in this same season of choosing between God and the world.
There is a choice to be made. And no, God doesn’t desire that you be poor or have no job, but He wants His children to come to the point where those peripherals have no hold over our souls.
That they aren’t what drive us…but the furthering of His name, glory and work on the earth – even when He gives us jobs or money or great things is what drives us.
If I do get a leading to better place this into words, I will write again on it.
Again, you can watch the video on teachings on the kingdom of God on my Youtube channel here or below.

I’m definitely up for fulfilling purpose and being all God wants me to be. Though yes sometimes distractiondistractions come and it’s hard to put God first but it’s something we can do. I was reading open heavens devotional this morning and it still spoke about putting God first. Here’s the prayer, Father in whatever situation I find myself, grant me the grace to always give you priority.’
Focusing on God first puts a lot of other things in perspective. God help us to always put Him first. Thanks for this Frances. God bless you…

Lovely post,.. You are so right about Matt 6:33.we are all going through the struggle of getting the best things in life, God has already promised and we already have all the blessings we need but His Kingdom should be a priority to us. In advancing his kingdom we will surely be taken care of. I am making that decision to do just that.

Hello Frances, sorry to diverge a little but would like you to read this article link
    http://www.bibleissues.org/spouse1.html
Does God have an ordained spouse for us?
I just want to know your take on this matter. It’s somewhat confusing for me in this marriage discernment talk. I do think that God would give his blessing to a union of two believers who fall in love spontaneously. Or would he tell us who it is, even if we don’t love the person or the person is not willing to be with us?. But then if he doesn’t even force us to worship him, we worship him out of our own free will. Is it then possible for him to force a spouse unto us?

I know some believers (usually females) who God reveals to them, according to them who their spouse is and the guy doesn’t even send them one bit. Right now I know a spirit filled sister who is waiting on a man God revealed to her but he hasn’t even called or texted or picked her calls in over a year. And she makes youtube videos about all these revelations. I kinda feel if he sees the videos, he might be scared or bullied into submission. And if God tells you such, are you supposed to tell the other party. I’m kinda new to this blog so if you have talked about it before I would like to read the post. Thanks!
