Chronicles Of My November 12 Trip Challenge: Nike Art Gallery, Lagos

Hi everyone!
TGIF!!!
I hope you guys are sticking it out in full gear till the very end of 2015? 🙂

Like I mentioned in the chronicles of my August 12 trip challenge yesterday, I’m going to share details from my #12TripChallenge for 2015.
I would be using Thursdays and Fridays to get it all done so I don’t have backlog of posts from 2015.

I’m sorry that I’m skipping September and October to write on November… but I have videos to upload from both months trips, so I’ll get the videos up and update on the trips next week.

So let’s get on it…
My November 12TripChallenge fell at a time when I wanted to hold the singles hangout in Lagos.
So basically, it wasn’t a lone trip, it was one where I had fun with other ladies!

So when I started scouting for the venue for the trip, I remembered that we had Mr Tobi’s the convo at Nike Art Gallery last year.
So I went there to make plans for our visit.
I was scared about money, etc, but it turned out to be favour filled all the way. But for that I will give details about it tomorrow when I share the post on our singles hangout.

So I got there pretty early…
There’s a cafe at the gallery and I just sat there as I waited for the other ladies to arrive.
Snapped some pictures and just took in the atmosphere… then Amaka of Amakamedia.blogspost.com arrived and so the gisting began.

We were supposed to make a video of an author interview with me but couldn’t find anyone to man the camera.
Then the other ladies arrived and we’re 9 ladies at the outing.
We goofed around, laughed, and took loads of pictures!
I won’t be sharing much pictures of us all till tomorrow’s post though…

We didn’t go up the four floors when we went around at first but later, I and my friend Queenie went upstairs when the other ladies had gone out.

Even I who doesn’t have an artistic eye was wowed!
I saw many pieces of Madam Nike, the art gallery owner as long as different pieces from talented artists.

Then Madam Nike asked us to deck up in beads and snap pictures. Hehe.

It was a very fulfilling day and I love the fact that I was with people for a change.
This is the first trip this year that I went out with others.
Every other trip has been me, myself and I and also any other amazing person I meet on the way.

And oh, Nike Art Gallery is located at
No. 2, Elegushi Road,
3rd Roundabout, Epe Expressway,
Ikate Cross Road, Lekki Phase 1 Peninsula,
Lekki Lagos, NIGERIA.
Just incase you want to pop in for a visit.
Entry is free and you would have an ama-mazing time I bet you… And Madam Nike is just such a joy!

So you can also tell that I was withholding some details ba?
Because I still have to share about this same trip when I write on details of the singles hangout… so I don’t want the gals I hung out with to feature that much on this chronicles.

So tune in back here for some pictures, videos, and great words from our singles hangout tomorrow.
And next week Thursday and Friday, I will get the post on my trips of September and October up.
