Cheers To The Crazies!!!

Hello Everyone,Hellooo!
How was your weekend?
Superb and restful right?

First of all I really, really want to apologize for not putting up the post on the relationship question I talked about on my last post.( http://imperfectlyperfect92.wordpress.com/2013/11/01/speak-it-forth-with-me/ )
I am so sorry.
The deal is,I thought I had finished writing it till the time came to post it and then I realized it was just in my head,I had put nothing down in reality.
I Will hopefully do that post this coming saturday, hopefully and prayerfully will.

I must say, that I got the inspiration for this post from http://ofilispeaks.com
Saw one of his articles that I loved and it pierced me deeply.

Here is what I have for you today…I presume we’ve all(or nearly all of us) have had that friend we call crazy?
You know, that friend/sibling/relative that cant stop talking about how they’ll change the World someday.
That person that is always trying to figure out how the silly tap works.(I mean why couldn’t they just get their water like everyone else and shut their mouths? Right?)

Why did they always complain about how slow the internet was and were always at their computers looking for ways to change it?
Why did they have to look for a machine that converts urine to water instead of just peeing and get it over with?

I bet it amazes you as to why they were always covered in books and books, trying to change the World.

You must even have exclaimed-;”This guy is crazy!!”

That crazy person could even be you.

But guess what?
The crazies are right there on the list of World achievers!

I bet a whole lot of people must have called Barrack Obama crazy.
Come on!
How could a small, inexperienced Black man from a little African country ever dream to become President of the greatest Country in the World??
A country where a black man had never ruled?
A country that had a history of racism so deep it was still seen in the 21st century?
He must have seemed all of bonkers to everyone that heard that!
What???
He wanted to run for President?
He was absolutely raving mad!

What do you think that Mrs Alakija a mere secretary at the time would have been seen as whenever she voiced the thought that she would like to command a huge part of Nigeria’s oil sector?
Seriously?
A woman?
Climbing to the top in this Nigeria?
Wow!
A whole lot of people must have laughed at her and tagged her crazily silly!

What about Zoe Oduwole?
What do you think friends of her parents must have said when they heard that she wanted to start interviewing Presidents of different countries?
I can imagine a typical naija woman exclaiming-“Ah! You wan spoil her? At this young age? You are mad oo”
But today, her name’s on google for something great.
Is yours?

Larry Page and Sergey Brin must also have been tagged mad for trying to develop a new system for searching the world wide web which at the time consisted of 10million documents.
That gave birth to Google and each of them as at 2011 had an estimated net worth of $16.7billion each!

I could go on and on,but I know you get my drift right?

Where are the sane ones?
The ones who steer on the side of caution?
The ones who never deviate out of line? The ones who never think out of the box?
What are their names?
What are they known for???

People may have always wondered why you asked many questions about how the tap works?
Or why you are so interested in the time and effort it took to pound yam manually.
Infact, you were the butt of jokes when you took out that eye shadow, and instead of applying it,you looked at it more closely for a way to improve on the way it was made.

They must have said you have gone bonkers!
But Guess wat?
They said Barrack Obama was crazy too! They said Mark Zuckerberg didn’t know what he was on about.

Need I say more?

Do not be scared to pave your own path.
Do not be scared to be a trailblazer.
Do not be scared to reach for your dreams.
Do not be scared to reach for more.
Do not be scared to be more.

Here’s saying cheers to the ones who think out of the box.
Cheers to the ones who refuse to be boxed into a sterotype.
Cheers to the ones who dream to achieve the seemingly unattainable.
Cheers to the ones who see impossible as nothing.

I leave you with these words from Steve jobs-;
“Here’s to the crazy ones,the
misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They are not fond of rules.
You can quote them,disagree with
them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because, they change things…
They push the human race forward.
And while some may see them as the
crazy ones,we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones
who do”~Steve Jobs.

Cheers To The Crazies!

Have A Splendid Week People!
