Hey hi hi.
How are you doing? And how’s the walk in what God has told you to do been going?
So this past week we had TwtwTravelAndTour trip to Omu resort and we were just two ladies who were there!
I had done all I knew to do. I had prayed, sent out social media posts, prayed, released the Word and sent out the ministering angels to bring in the harvest and here was I with just one person. Like Lord, what happened?
I was about to step out of the house to meet her up when I heard “Frances build with me”.
I am like ‘Lord what do you mean??”
You see, I know how the business idea of TwtwTravelAndTours came to me and even after the first trip to Badagry where we were just three and had no profit per say, God kept repeating over and over that day that “I will bless the works of your hands’.
So even when those I was working with weren’t too excited about it/the support wasn’t off the roof, I knew that God had His hands on the business and so I just set my face like a flint even when I was tempted to be discouraged.
I decided that I was going to treat that one lady as I would treat a bus full of ladies.
As I stepped out to meet the one person God had deemed fit to bring for the Omu resort trip, that’s when the word came “Frances build with me”.
I was wondering what God meant and this scripture came:
“Then the word of the Lord came to me: âThe hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. âWho dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel?â
Zechariah 4:8â-â¬10 NIV
I started mulling on it.
You know you can’t build a temple over night. Â Building a house has to begin from digging in the foundation and depending on what God of house it is, the foundation may take a while to complete.
This isn’t an overnight job; this is an over time job.
So when God was saying work with me on this; lets build from the foundation up.
Sometimes we get a word from God and while working the word it seems like maybe we heard incorrectly because well.. it just doesn’t seem like the word is bearing fruit.
But there is something about investing and knowing the character and ways of God.
In the kingdom most times things are built from the ground up. I can’t speak for those who seem like they had overnight success but if you are walking with God, fair chances are that you started from the bottom. Â Like Zechariah you laid one stone after the other till the mountain was brought down and the valleys raised up.
In our walk in God’s purpose for our lives, following the way He leads and going in the direction He points at, we may be tempted to give up and throw in the towel. But that’s not the attitude of builders. Â Builders stay till the work is completed. Â Like God says, start small but also know that that building shall not end small. Â It shall be completed.
If you are tired, God is saying “BUILD WITH ME”.
Would you?
I pray you do.
I decided to do so. I stepped out of the house, met up with my foundation and put some blocks in place by having such an amazing time at Omu resort.
That’s just a representative of the fact that every time you continue doing what God has told you to do, you are putting blocks in place, building and laying foundations which will be completed very soon.
Don’t let go.
Keep building.
Stick with Him. Stick with God. Build with God.
Have a blessed week ahead.
Love,
Frances
