It is no news that our singles hangout held on Saturday…
What should be news though is the fact that it was amazing… so amazing!
Like I even didn’t understand the effect of being in the company of godly single ladies prior to the event but by the time I left, I knew just how therapeutic a meeting of ladies who just love God can be.
We laughed, we connected, we took loads of pictures ๐ we ate, we talked about purpose, shared our lives and more importantly we shared our love Jesus and desire to take steps to be filled by Him and in Him.
Distinguished and I are actually confused as to who should win the award for most impacted during the hangout.. I say that its me! Hands down! I win!
But I’m going to write about the event in a separate post, today is a day for something else…
When I got home after the event, gratitude was the only thing ringing in my heart to God.
Every time I thought about how amazing everything turned out, I smiled and breathed “thank you God”!
I experienced fulfillment like no other… one that only walking in God’s purpose for your life can bring.
I have discovered that the more you walk in what God has placed in your heart to do, the more fulfilled you are.
It doesn’t just bring happiness, it brings joy and fills up your entire heart.
I got thinking about me, the girl I was some five years ago and this girl who’s just running along a path of purpose that’s so glorious now and all that rang in my head was this excerpt from my book…
“As you just read from my walk in purpose above, there are a lot of things that I have done รขยย things that would cause the human mind to disqualify anyone from being used by God on earth.
How did that no-good-girl with a knack for dating the wrong men get to the point of spilling words that bless and impact lives positively?
How did that girl who had sexual encounters with men she met off Facebook get to the point where she holds seminars at schools and advices young girls not to meddle in wrong relationships?
God did it all.
He took the mess and turned it all into a message.
I literally had no sense of direction or purpose in my life during my dark years รขยย I couldn’t even dare to think that God would use a dirty, soiled, no-good girl like me for Himself.
But here am I. Walking and living in what God has purposed for me from the beginning of time.
And you can do the same too…”
-Excerpt from Step 2: Yes you are worthy!
There is an emphasis on “YOU CAN DO THE SAME TOO…”
I wrote “10 steps to walking in purpose” because I wanted people to come to the knowledge of what I have found out…
Nothing else can fulfill you like walking in God’s purpose for your life can do.
Money can’t give you that fulfillment, neither can marriage, neither can kids(excerpt of course your purpose is to run an orphanage or adoption office or something)… there’s just a certain joy you get from running on the path that God has purposed for you from the beginning of time.
Some persons haven’t found this path yet and for some others they know what it is but haven’t started walking in it.
Whichever category you fall into, my book will help you make the blurry lines clearer.
I’m offering an opportunity for everyone to get the e-copy of my book for free.
