I’m still up at 11:41PM sunday night, reading up on page sizes and margins and trying to really think about what to write on this post.
You see, I have been sharing snippets about the two books I am currently working on almost everywhere online but haven’t formally come out to give details about them… and when it comes right down to it, I am almost scared to make it official.
I mean, “Frances, who ever told you that you could put together something worth reading?”
I sincerely feel like postponing this post but surprise surprise, the Spirit in me won’t let me.
I woke up on saturday and edited the page on my second book that had to do with fear – probably because God knew that I needed to re-read it.
I woke up on sunday morning with “It is not by force or by power but by my Spirit says the Lord of heaven’s armies” (Zechariah 4:6) ringing in me.
And this whole journey has been by God’s Spirit indeed.
When I feel like I can’t go on, I shut my laptop down and pray for grace, which He always delivers.
Like I said in this post when I first talked about the books, the second book sprung up from a reply I was crafting to an email from someone and when I got the “this is a book”, the first thing I said was “no Lord! no!” Lol.
But all “no(s)” turn to “yes” by His strenght not mine. So yes, God has been my inspiration, strength, editor, encourager and support in this journey. I am simply just the physical hands and feet who agreed to do the physical job 🙂
That said, let’s get into the details shall we?
Remember the chastity for men series?
The first book is the ebook I promised to put together on it.
The burden to get it all together still remained so strong after the series and if it would help people find freedom from sexual addictions, then God be praised.
It’s a whole lot different from the series though, I have cut off and added some really great chapters and will share them all next week monday.
The release date for it is July 6th – 2 monday’s from today (please pray for me not to postpone it)
The second book which is my real baby – lots of stuff are hinged on it, eg, my work in secondary schools, is on purpose.
Title: “How to find your purpose in life: 10 steps to walking in purpose”
This second book blows me away because I still wonder how I went from sending a reply to a mail to someone to writing “10 steps to walking in purpose”.
Now, both books are for free – the e-copies – but the book on purpose is also meant for my work in schools, meaning that it will be printed out for free distribution at schools I organize seminars at.
Tentative release date for the second book is August 31st, about 6days before my birthday – September 6th. (I actually want it to be released in September, but the dates don’t align with what I want but we will see about this date, it’s subject to change)
But for now, I’m focusing on launching the first book – Chastity For Men (its also for sisters because there’s a chapter for sisters too-more on this later)
The date for the launch is pretty close and we will be seeing more details about the book on the blog soon.
Both book covers are in the works and hopefully, I will share them next week.
I am also working on having my youtube channel so I can better spread the news about chastity further – it scares me to think about sharing my personal walk with sexual addictions but I realize that this is the walk.
As written on the about page of this blog, God isn’t playing about using my(our) imperfections to show forth the perfection in Him.
He isn’t playing at all.
More on that later, for today, I just want you to subscribe to blog so you can immediately get your copy of the book when it’s out and make things easy for me when I have to move subscribers to mail chimp soon(to be able to better send emails).
Thank you all for your anticipated co-operation.
I pray that both books will impact meaningfully on the lives of those who read it and sow good seeds in your hearts.
Have a great week ahead blog hearts.
Love,
Frances.

We had a blast with the shoot for the book when I was in Lagos in April… and it’s one of the reasons why I see God in all these. I mean, prior to the shoot, I have never met Arike before, just met her in the blogging world and then she came all the way from Ogba to Surulere with camera to dothe shoot… for someone you’ve never met before?
Thank you Arike!
I will do a post on the fun day we had(my friend did my make up and I couldn’t recognize myself again-in a good way) and maybe even do a series on the whole journey to publishing the books when it’s all done.
God has been awesome but don’t let me go on a roll here.
P.P.S: don’t forget to subscribe to the blog below, subscribers get priority over all others. Book gets to them first 🙂

June 22, 2015 at 5:03 pmWow Francis! To say that I am proud of how far you’ve come is saying very little. Honestly I have followed you for a while now, about 2 years I think, and I have watched you grow into this strong, amazing, inspiring young woman. You inspire me so much. I wish I had half the courage you have to do some of the things I want to. It is so evident that God is obviously at work in your life. God bless you so much and may He never cause His anointing upon your life to cease. I can’t wait to read the books!!!

June 23, 2015 at 10:23 amA hearty congratulations, boo! Welldone. Haaaaa, I know the tension and uncertainty you must be facing now. But from experience, I can boldly say that you can always tell the dreams that God gives from your own. God’s dreams will make you excited and terrified, not because they’re the last thing on earth you would want to do, but because there’s no way you can see how it could possible happen. And Frances, that’s exactly where God moves the best. He wants so much more for us than we want for ourselves. He has the power and knowledge to do what we cannot. He can see around the corner and knows how it will all work out. I cant tell you the number of times I lost faith in my book. During that process, I learnt that when God shows you a dream that you just don’t see for yourself, ask yourself if it’s because you don’t trust God to make it work. The big dreams require faith. We won’t get there without allowing God to do what we cannot. And when we do, He delights to bless us beyond what we thought was possible. Pastor Oscar Muriu once said ‘Never limit the greatness of God by the size of your vision’. If your dreams don’t scare you, then your dreams are too small! Similarly, never measure out what you will live for by the size of your bank account. The bible in Psalm 37:4 says ‘delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart’. As we spend time with God, He gives us God-sized dreams that require God-sized provision. Darling, It’s ok to dream big. Now trust God to make it happen. I join my faith with yours.
Warmest Wishes…as always!

June 23, 2015 at 1:38 pmEzar, Shebi seriously God just used you to pass across His message to me?
Not just about the books, i’m getting this message on deeper level..
There is no way you’d have known what’s tied to the second book but that’s where your message is going to in my heart.
I won’t cut back on it, God can and will deliver.
I will do my part, remain in Him, delight myself in Him and His own part, He always does
Thank you.
Thank you.

July 21, 2015 at 3:59 pmHi Frances,
I’ve read a few of your posts over a period of time and I tell you, I leave here thoroughly blessed and encouraged each time to keep in step with the Holy Spirit, keep my heart and love for Him through His grace and keep walking in purpose.
Any chance that your second book is tailored for the needs of secondary students? The one on purpose? I’d be extremely glad to pay for some of the kids the Lord gives us the opportunity to speak with (CDS waka). Would it be alright to do you a mail?
I’ll remember to pray for you and the entire process of publishing your books. You’re held in the highest regard dearest!
