Dear blog hearts,
I’ve really missed you all.
I’m sorry I went AWOL for a while.
As you well know by now, I am currently a youth corper and after the election brouhaha (of which I shared my experience here) I decided to take a break from the khaki life and just chill.
Shout out to Princess who checked on me, the rest of you didn’t check on me but I love you all the same 🙂
I am back now and I am happy to announce that the #ChastityForMenSeries is officially closed – at least on the blog.
Yes, I still have other articles I am collating from others and yes, I still have a lot to add to the series, but it would all go into the eBook I’m currently putting together for it.
Aside from my own testimony in the #ChastityForMenSeries, I was amazed at the number of people the series inspired to reach out and speak about their own “sextimony” (words gotten from Gabby 🙂 .
I was amazed at the number of private messages I got, and that is just from the series on this blog, imagine how it much it will help others when it becomes a readily available resource in an eBook.
I want to reach out with the #ChastityForMenProject and touch more lives with these real stories of real people that God has transformed for good.
I imagine that a free eBook will impact more lives, reach more people, and anyone at all can download it online and find encouragement in the fact that God’s power can indeed loosen them from the holds of sexual sin.
And more than that, I pray that it would encourage more Christians to be open about their sexual struggles and issues.
I hope that everyone who’s hands get to the eBook will find another hand to hold them through whatever they maybe going through.
There will be no articles from anonymous brothers in the eBook as I want everyone reading it to be able to contact anyone who’s story they relate with for help/as an accountability partner.
So the eBook is in the works and of course, you will all know when it’s out – subscribers to the blog will get it first so don’t forget to subscribe to blog via email before you log off Imperfectly Perfect Lives today.
Thank you all for the shares, comments, and personal emails sent to me during the period we ran the #ChastityForMenSeries.
I was/am amazed as to how one person sharing their story can inspire others to open up too.
It re-emphasizes my belief that we shouldn’t hide our struggles.
Don’t hide the pain…
Don’t hide the tears…
Let someone else see even from your life that they aren’t alone.
Let others see that there’s light at the end of the dark tunnel they are going through right now because you’ve gone through it.
This is a big part of what we do on Imperfectly Perfect Lives(Just read our about page to know more about the blog).
Matthew 5;16 (Msg version) â âNow that Iâve put you there on a hilltop, on a light standâshine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, youâll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven”
I believe that we need more Christians who will keep open house wit their lives and go all out with spreading God’s light in them.
We need more Christians who won’t only share the victories but also share the struggles.
We need more Christians who can say that “I was a lesbian before but God’s grace saved me and washed me and made me the holy and blameless person that I am now.”
Hiding our testimonies does no good for the kingdom.
It just keeps others trapped in their own darkness.
Let’s share the darkness we went through and let’s share the light – oh the wonderful light that washed off every trace of the darkness.
As we find the courage to do this, more and more lives will be blessed for it and God’s name will be glorified.
God bless us all.
You can catch up with all #ChastityForMen posts on the blog here, pending when the eBook will be completed.
Frances’s Love Letters will also begin on a steady roll from next week.
Yes,I have missed it on the blog too.

April 25, 2015 at 8:38 pmYou might want to put a border around the text so the words pop out more and more visible.

April 27, 2015 at 7:19 pmWell done Frances on this series. God bless you and all who opened up to make the series a success.
It’s only the ‘Chastity for men’ that is bold, you can make the other words more visible….
Go girl! Patiently waiting for the ebook too.
