Alakija,Nigeria And Allied Issues…

Hello Dearies,I hope you’ve had a great week like I have had?(And yes,a week of rest before Law School is classified as a great week!).
Today,I want to talk about some plenty plenty brouhaha in my head…

So as we all should know by now,Folorunsho Alakija is the richest Black Woman in the World(not a new news).
But the cause of this whole brouhaha in my head was this;
In this same Naija that people cry and lament that they are suffering,another person has grown to overthrow others&make it and even more than make it!…

And you stay at home in tears,soaking yourself in beer,murmuring that Government isn’t helping you.

What’s up with that brain of yours?
And your hands?
Wetin do your God-given talents?

And you’ll say;
“I wan port go jand abeg”
Well,Alakija is Lagos Based and she made her money in Nigeria!

And you’ll say;
“She get better capital to start up na”

No o!
She started small,from secretary to tailor Abi na fashion designer dem dey call am…
And she’s here now.
So do not EVER,EVER,despise the days of small beginnings.

So what are we waiting for?
With God,your brains,your hand and hardwork,you have all you need…

And you’ll say again;
“But who is Folorunsho alakija”?

Pls rewind??! You are asking who she is??

And then you ask again;
“why should I know who she is,na everything person dey know?”

But you know peruvian and indian hair ba?
You know the latest barbecue joint In town;
You sabi the latest BB and when a guy wants to take you out,you sabi the latest hotel ba?
You sabi the latest songs?
You sabi the latest dance…
And That’s all good…

But in this jet age,you nor sabi serious matter like this?(Yes,A Nigerian woman that has a net worth of $7.3 Billion is serious issue indeed!)
But you nor sabi how to research and learn from people that have made it?
You nor wan read wetin go inspire you and make you grow ba?

But you’ll continue to cry and curse Government that they are not helping you…
And You’ll resort to runs and still use the so-called cash you get on clothes,bags and shoes and leave your brain empty.

Ok!
You don’t care about people that have made it because you’ll get married to a rich man soon ba?
And you’ll be asking him for every #5 Maggi and #250 panties you want to buy…

Come on!
Wives these days are assets,not liabilities.
Forget the fact that he tells you that he doesn’t mind.
No man would despise a woman that has a good brain in her head(except he has low self-esteem)

You make guys call ladies “fish brains”.
Folorunsho is a lady and she’s definitely not fish brained!

Its time to change Ladies!
Its time to;
Be More!
Do more!
Grow up!
Improve yourself!
Biko nu!

If you didn’t know her before now and you’ve been reading this plenty story and you still havent Googled her and you are still pinging about price of the longest inches of Brazillian hair,then I give up!
I now seriously have no more words for you!

For the Ladies aspiring to be more,please don’t fashe the others o.
Please help your fellow Sisters up.
Try to impact on those that are willing to be impacted.
