A Reminder To You: He Has Got It All Planned!

I love God.
I can’t deny it.
The things He does… the length He goes to make sure that His message gets to me in a particular season is just a testament to how much more He loves me in return.

I had plans and dreams in my heart when I came to Lagos a week ago.
I kind of had it planned out a bit, but I needed faith to appropriate what I saw in my heart and that faith wasn’t forthcoming the way I wanted it to.
Or rather, I was just a bit overwhelmed with the faith journey.
Like I just passed one Faith journey with the book, why this again. Why can’t everything just be cut and dry?
Why does there have to be so much secrecy and “not knowing” shrouded around everything.
So for a better part of last week, I just felt Daddy calling unto me to #Trust Him.
First Sunday I was at Church, I was burdened with the whole faith walk, so when a dear sister asked me about plans for now, I told her what God has laid in my heart to do but how I just wasn’t seeing the steps to get there.
Like the dreams are so valid, so much so that He has asked me not to drop them, but I just don’t see how He is going to do them.
And she spoke to me and encouraged me and if you know me, I was already crying as words came to still my soul.

Wednesday after that Sunday, I was on my way to Church and that morning God had spoken to me on how He had only good plans for me.
He kept repeating “there’s no evil in my plans for you”, it was like this voice that wouldn’t go away.
I tweeted the link to this post and tagged some persons and then I had a DM from a dear sister again. She wanted to ring me.
I was in the bus when she called and she just started pouring out what was in her heart to tell me after she read my post.
She told me I haven’t even seen yet what God wants to use me for, His plans, the blueprint, but that it’s started already.
And then she asked me to trust God.
A second messenger from God.

On Thursday again, I wanted to meet up with this sister from my testimony post and we spoke and I found out she isn’t in Lagos at the moment (bummer!)
But then again, guess what was laid in her heart to tell me as we spoke? TRUST GOD.
He’s preparing you, so you better rest all you can right now, all the dreams, soon, you’ll be so busy on them. Trust God.
Third messenger.

God was already preparing my heart with all these messages throughout the week because I being His daughter who He knows inside and outside, He knew that I still hadn’t gotten the word on Trusting Him in this season fixed in my heart.
And what followed was Daddy finally getting His daughter to know that her walk with Him isn’t a once and for all “get it settled in your heart” that I am with you…
It’s an everyday “trust that I know what I’m doing in and with you”.
Someone may wonder, but you have been trusting God before, why’s it so hard now?
I am getting to understand that different seasons require “different gears” as we go forth in God.
The faith you had yesterday cannot sustain the faith you need today.
It must be refilled, it must be refined, it must grow as many times as God needs it to.

So what followed on Sunday after a week of God preparing my heart to be fixed on Him was me finally coming to the place where He wanted me to be… A place of knowing that He has got it all planned.
As always, I love to share what God is dealing with me on in hopes that someone out there needs it… So today’s #OnlineBibleStudy isn’t the conventional one but I hope the words are meant for someone out there.
If Jesus has been tugging on your heart to come into deeper trust in Him, then this is for you…
It took hearing Him clearly in my heart, and tears of repentance and smiles at the acceptance of the truth in my heart for me to be at peace.
And I’m sharing His reminder to me below, and I pray and hope that you come to this place of #Trust I’m currently in right now.

09 November 2015
God has more in store for you Frances. He has so much more for you. You have to know. You have to know this truth.
It may not look like it right now.
You don’t see, you don’t know. The now doesn’t even give you a glimpse of what I have for you but I have so much more for you. So much more for you Frances. So much more.
There’s so much more I want to use you for. You don’t see it right now, but it doesn’t mean that it’s not there.
It doesn’t mean that I don’t have it planned.
It doesn’t mean that I don’t have it all planned out even before you were born.
I had it all planned.
There’s so much more I want to use you for Frances.
So much more.
So much more.
So stop worrying.
You don’t see it yet, yes, but see me.
See me.
See me.
See me.
You don’t see the greater but I do.
Trust me. Trust me.
I have got it all planned.
Trust me.
Trust me.
Trust me.

I pray God’s word to me will hit your heart as His word to you too.
And if you are in that place where it is hard to fix your gaze on Him… just like His word to me did, your fears and anxiety will be still under His word.
Trust Him.
Trust Him.
Till Our Next Online Bible Study,
And just a few things…

greater glory
It’s that time of the year again, that time when my Church holds its annual conference!
I blogged on the last one, #Thirsty last year and if you followed through, you know it was just amazing!
Even through the blog, we had people whose spiritual lives were down just tapping in and ending the year on a high note.
This year’s theme is Greater Glory.
It seems to be a season where God is trying to raise an army of believers who will take over the earth in this day and time.
Believers full of His fire, influencing the earth even now…and their glory will be greater than the former.
There will be free accomodation for those persons coming from outside Lagos and even in Lagos if your place is far from the church.
Of course, our Pastor, Nathaniel Bassey will be at the conference, along with Pastor Chingtok and other awesome ministers.
You can get more details and register for the conference via the link below.

I hope to see you there.

I trust Him. I will trust Him, even when I don’t see the stairs, I will put my feet out.

    God bless you, beautiful!

    This just spoke to me…
“I am getting to understand that different seasons require “different gears” as we go forth in God. The faith you had yesterday cannot sustain the faith you need today.
It must be refilled, it must be refined,it must grow as many times as God needs it to.”
Now I get it, no wonder I was asking my self why that faith of where I have gotten to isn’t enough but I know that if he did it before he would do it again.

New gears, new level of faith…
He is enough Chidiebere, God is enough.
I believe when we trust Him, our faith increases from that place of total reliance in Him…
He is with us dear. And won’t fail us. Never.

Today at Church, this song hit me…
“I cannot call on your name, and end up in shame, no way”.

It’s not possible… its not possible that we trust Him and still end up ashamed, no way.
      So #trust Him..I’m there too.

Beautiful Frances… Thanks for this. This message came at the right time. At this stage of my life I’m just questioning what’s going to happen next… that everything just seems not to be working the way I want it to. I want to trust God… and believe He knows what’s next.

He not only knows what will happen next, He knows the end of the plan and it’s all for good!!!
Hang in there Tope, we are walking on this faith journey together and will be witnesses to just how much trusting god is the right path to tread.
      *hugs and lots of love*

I know what you mean. Hang in there, it’s not easy but past experiences teach us it is so worth it to Trust God. After all, faith is believing in what we can’t see but hope for.
