A Guaranteed Path!

I had a conversation with someone recently that led to so many amazing truths.
He asked me-
“did you see Jude when he came? Big car and all? Na yahoo o.”
Then he went ahead to say-
“please pray for me,I want to make it legally, I want to use my God-given gifts.”

The wheels of musings just started turning in my head.
How many people/godfearing people have looked at others that made it dishonestly and wondered- “oh,if I dabbled into this shady deal I would have made it by now”
How many have seen others making wealth through ill gotten means but would still say-“Lord please,I don’t want to go the wrong way, please bless the works of my God given gifts?”

And for those that make this declaration, how much faith do they have in God to follow through with this? How far will you go with it?

Till Jude erects his 10th building with the money he got from the white lady he swindled or till God comes through for you?
Will you run in God’s lane no matter how hard it seems?
Will you take your eyes off that get-rich-quick wealth and walk with God?
Walking on God’s path is the only path that is guaranteed.

I shared different reasons with the person I had the conversation with on why he should hold on and walk with God and I think it would really be selfish of me not to share.
Firstly…

Proverbs 13:11

Proverbs 13:11

And I so love Psalm 73-
“But as for me, I almost lost my footing.
My feet were slipping, and I was almost gone.
For I envied the proud, when I saw them prosper despite their wickedness….
“What does God know?” they ask.
“Does the Most High even know what’s happening?”
Look at these wicked people—enjoying a life of ease while their riches multiply. Did I keep my heart pure for nothing?
Did I keep myself innocent for no reason? I get nothing but trouble all day long;every morning brings me pain.
Then I went into your sanctuary, O God,
and I finally understood the destiny of the wicked. Truly, you put them on a slippery path and send them sliding over the cliff to destruction.
In an instant they are destroyed,
completely swept away by terrors.
When you arise, O Lord,
you will laugh at their silly ideas
as a person laughs at dreams in the morning.
I was so foolish and ignorant—Yet I still belong to you;
you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, LEADING ME TO A GLORIOUS DESTINY.”

Psalm 73 just says it all.
Don’t let your feet slip.
Oh yes, it looks like the yahoo yahoo is good business.
The charms and lies bring them the money they want.
The runs and cheating in exams give them the grades.
The powder from ijebu baba they rub on their face and sex they give freely makes them get married quickly…
But oh,that path only leads to destruction, there’s no guarantee in there, they’ll all fall like a pack of cards in the end.
Stay on God’s lane, it can only lead you to your glorious destiny.

You can only shine!

You can only shine!

You see that?
I am crazily excited for you.
Paste this in your heart, in your head, in your spirit this 2014 and beyond, do not be discouraged.
The path you’ve taken in God is a guaranteed sure banker!
YOU CAN ONLY SHINE with God’s path you’ve taken.
YOU CAN ONLY SHINE dear!
And shine you will!

PS- Please read the whole of Psalm 73, I only posted those verses for you to get a feel of it but the whole chapter is another rhema on its own.Truly!

Have a blessed week everyone 😀

Very timely this beginning of year. Brings another scripture to mind…
Weary not yourself to be rich; cease from your own [human] wisdom. Will you set your eyes upon wealth, when [suddenly] it is gone? For riches certainly make themselves wings, like an eagle that flies toward the heavens. Proverbs 23:4-5 AMP
    Nuff said!

Yahoo Yahoo is still a thing? Really? What a world! But again, we all should examine our desires if it lines up with what God wants for us. Love the scripture you put up: Psalm 73 “…Then I went into your sanctuary, O God,
and I finally understood the destiny of the wicked.”

It’s easy to get lost in the throes of “hustling” but trust God to always “open our eyes” when we go back to Him.

Ah,yes worshipandswag, yahoo yahoo is still a big business, still large…
And I agree with you,its so easy to get lost with what path to take in the hustling game,it takes God’s grace to stand firm which I pray he grants us all.
I mega appreciate your stopping by. *smiles, smiles*
