3Tips For Achieving Your Goals Even As The Year Draws To An End…

I never forgot my goals for 2014 that was shared on Eziaha’s blog. In fact, I have it saved on my phone and I always read it from time to time and keep tabs. I will do a full post soon on how well I did with them but for today, I have something else to share with us.

Some persons think that new year resolutions are useless as people don’t tick off the goals but writing down my resolutions this year actually helped to set my focus straight. It served as a “focus check” for me.

As at December 1st I discovered I still haven’t ticked off some goals so I set out to see what I could do before the end of the year… Firstly, a goal I had not ticked off was to travel to somewhere I have not been to before, maybe Ghana or Calabar after Law School and chillax as a single lady but none of that had been done. I don’t have anyone to stay with in Calabar(I’m still hoping it will work out..?) but meantime, I took myself out to Olumo Rock in Abeokuta. (Details will come up in another post)

And a bigger goal was to do what God had put in my heart. ie, speak at a girls Secondary School on purpose as women, relationships, etc. Remember this post? The awakening? I never forgot it, I had to do my own quota. I spoke about it in na today you wan start post as what I was putting for…

So I spoke for the first time at a school on Friday. It’s the reason why I said Grace’s guest post came at the right time. sc     (Maybe I will share the full pictures and all in another post. We have an Awakening Youths section on this blog, it just haven’t kicked off fully)

And what have I learned that I want to share today?

(1) The year hasn’t ended yet. Yeah, some of us have wrapped up and packed up our goals and carried them over to next year. Haba! Don’t close up the year before it officially shuts down. Miracles can still happen… Goals can still be ticked off…If you are ready and willing to tick them off. frances   (2) You just might have to go it alone when you have to fulfill your goals. Don’t let that scare you. I had to speak to the girls alone even though I had planned for it to be 3speakers but then, never let the fear of going it alone stop you from doing what is in your heart.

(3) You can fulfill those goals you dumped since the beginning of the year in the 13days left for the year to come to an end. Yes, you can. My visit to Olumo rock and speaking at the school was done in 3days. Tuesday and then Friday last week. If it’s not a goal that can be done in 13days, then at least, start something up NOW. It’s not too late to do something if you put your mind to it.

For me? I have dumped my weight loss goals for a while but even if I don’t lose weight for the days left in 2014, I can at least start exercising again.

Will you join me and set wheels in motion to accomplish goals set for the year? If you can accomplish your goals like the two goals I ticked off above, then do that. If it can’t be done, then prepare, set the plans in motion for 2015.

I will start something up on my weight loss goals today…

Will you?   IMG_20141209_151019_1 And maybe I should give you something you can indeed do…
