Efe Kotor: Women As Positive Influencers

Over time, the role of women in the home, church, school, work
place, and the society at large have been highly over emphasized and
under estimated.
This is due to certain lay down belief systems, laws, conditions,
norms and values which she grew up with or was made to accept.
This has made so many promising young women to become slaves to “Timidity and Low Self Esteem”.

They have been psychological conditioned to
accept the fact that they have “Nothing” to offer to the world, cause it’s a man’s
world.
The good news is God has given every woman no matter the size or age,
“The Power of Influence”.

Know this today that as a woman you are a “Life Giver”( A man drops a seed inside of you, and God uses you to nurture and produce a new life from that seed).

You were not created empty, you are loaded with potentials, ideas,
knowledge… Your generation is waiting on you to dish out that which
God has given you, all you need to do is to discover who you are,
understand his purpose and vision for your life.
Until you break free from the spirit of “Timidity, Limitations,
Barriers, Restrictions and Boundaries, and embrace your God given
Power of influence your inner expression cannot come to life.

You were created to influence and lead in the area of your gifting, that is why
you must first discover who you are.

Now I ask: WHO ARE YOU?
After discovering who you are, the next step is to make a decision,
set a standard for yourself, set a pace, take the lead by believing
that you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you.
Remember that there will be Haters, Doubters, Non-believers, but the
decision to prove them all wrong lies only with you.

God didn’t promise us a smooth journey but he guaranteed us a safe arrival.
The power of influence you have is so great, such that you can either
build or destroy lives with it. ( positive and negative influencer)
The bible recorded accounts of women who were positive and negative
influencers in their generation. Examples of women who influenced their generation positively are Deborah and Esther. ( Judges 4 vs 4-9,
Esther 5 vs 1-8, 6 vs 1-8)

These were women who commanded respect from
great and mighty men and women. Barak knew Deborah’s ” WORTH”.

And
Barak said unto her, if thou will go with me, then i will go, but if
thou will not go with me, then i will not go”.

Barak knew the
importance of Deborah’s presence on the set mission.
King Ahasuerus couldn’t sleep because of Esther’s request… That is how great the power of influence you carry is.

What is Your WORTH?
Queen Jezebel, King Ahab’s wife is a very good example of a woman who used her power of influence negatively. ( 1kings 19 vs 1-2, 21 vs 1-10) – “And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of israel? I’ll give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite!”
She told her husband she “will” and she did! That’s what the power of influence can do!
“Deeply imbeded in the spirit of every woman is the spirit of
influence’ ( Pst. Vera Orobo)

You have the capacity and ability to become a person of influence, and
this is why you need to check your environment( By this I mean your
friends, the people you listen and talk to, the books you read, the
movies you watch.) All of these have a role to play in your becoming a
positive influencer.

There is more to life than following new trends(latest hair style, phone, shoes, clothes etc)

You have just one “Life”
to live.

Strive to make every moment of your life count, don’t live
your life by accident, In as much as we want to be positive
influencers, we must learn to be ” ORIGINAL”

Learn as much as you can
from people but don’t become them, know that you are the best original
there is.
There is a purpose you are uniquely created to fulfil, do not
sacrifice it for anything or anyone in the world, cause we all have
our purpose. It is heart breaking to know that the only thing on the
minds of young women today is marriage! All they do
is think and pray about marriage, nothing else matters anymore.

“All my friends are married and am still single…”
Let me ask you, after marriage, what next? children? becoming a liability to
your husband as a full time house wife?

Come on, be an asset not a liability! Give yourself some credit!

Where is your Value and Self worth? why not make use of the time
you have now as a single lady and take charge of your generation, make impact.

Change your prayer point and approach to things.

Start to
think positive, speak positive and live positive, be innovative, think
of what you can offer to your generation. Get rid of all the negative
energy. Tell yourself i can do it.
I don’t know about you, but ” I was not born to get married”

I was
born to fulfil a purpose and affect destinies positively. Getting
married is secondary and when it’s time for that, a man who loves Me and knows my Worth will Come Forth, until then I have got lives to impact!

    Awesome.
I pray about marriage o, for a woman just marry the wrong man and your destiny has been cut short.

I will fulfill my purpose in God as the Holy Ghost leads me.

It is difficult but possible because by the grace of God I am operating in the supernatural.
